God’s Biggest Mistake: Creating Mankind
I was in my twenties. I had grown up and was paying greater
attention to my country and what lay beyond our nation’s shores. A funny thing
about becoming aware and informed is that once you begin, you want to know more
and more: your interest grows rapidly. Although I believed then, as I do now,
that most human beings are basically good, evil exists, it is real, and it is
frightening. It appears to be far more prevalent in the 21st century.

education that I formed a belief which is far more real today than it was in
the late 1960’s and 70’s. “God’s biggest mistake was the creation of man.
Not a single of God’s creatures
destroys what He created for the sole purpose of increasing its personal
wealth. This is unique among H
Animals have never plotted the destruction of another
species based on unwarranted anger, hatred, or jealousy.
Although our Founding Fathers made mistakes, they were not
intentional. Their mistakes were the result of their faith in the inherent
goodness of mankind. Sadly, their naiveite created what exists in Washington
today. All three branches of our government are corrupt and beyond salvation. Their
greed and personal ambitions have become their priorities. These men and women
ignore the needs and wishes of all 340 million men, women, and children.
If right-wing extremists are successful, they will have
destroyed the intent of the men and women who bravely left their homeland to
create a new nation which would guarantee all of its citizens complete equality
and a promise to protect their individual freedoms unlike any other nation.
Desire for great wealth and power is destroying everything promised by the
First Amendment.

necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wickedness.” Joseph Conrad
