Are You Afraid of Your President? If You Answered ‘Yes,’ He is Not Your President
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
A President of the United States is not a “King,” a “Dictator,”
or any other form of autocrat. The truth is, he is no more important than the
janitors who clean the White House bathrooms, he simply has a different list of
“to dos.” He is a public servant.
A president’s primary function is to preserve, protect, and
defend the Constitution of the United States of America. This includes
protecting the rights of every American guaranteed by the Law of the Land. He
is also required to make our nation safe and secure for all 340 million people.
His ‘job’ is to seriously address the many problems facing our nation and find
solutions acceptable to everyone, even if that means compromise. He is not
allowed to have prejudices: he was elected by voters residing in the most
diverse nation in the world.
Trump is the anti-American president. He is the opposite of
everything I previously listed.
Trump uses his position for personal gain. He doesn’t give a
damn about a single citizen unless he or she is a billionaire. This is where he
breaks the cardinal rule for all presidents: “never place special interests in a
position of greater importance than any other citizen.”
When it comes to keeping his promises and addressing our
nation’s many problems, he is too busy spending taxpayer money golfing,
partying with his oligarchs at his billionaires only resort, Mar-a-Lago, and
watching television, where he learns everything he needs to know. Which is
nothing.
The truth is, Trump is a very scary person. If he frightens
you, he is not your president. That is as far away from being presidential as
possible.
Wake up! Become an informed American. Trump is the biggest
mistake in American history.
I almost find it hysterical that Hillary Clinton would have
been one of the greatest presidents of all time. Instead, Putin, the mainstream
media, and James Comey conspired to place into power the worst illegitimate
president in history.
