There are no “Men” in Trump’s Administration

Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart

The cornerstones of the United States of America are Freedom, and Equality. I was raised to believe that no man is ‘greater’ than another, regardless of his power, wealth, or position. In 79 years, I have learned this to be true.

The truth is, the rich, powerful, and famous are often inferior when measured by their low levels of compassion, understanding, and concern for the less fortunate.

However, in 2025, the promises guaranteed by the Constitution have been locked away in a dark place, waiting to be shredded or burned until nothing is left but ash.

I have not watched television news since November 9, 2016, with two exceptions.

First, I watch “CBS Sunday Morning.” It is a show about positive events and people in America and recharges my depleted battery as I write about the worst of our nation over the past week.

Second, my bride and I were watching a game show on television on January 6, 2021. It was interrupted by a “Breaking News” story. For the next three hours we watched a sitting president order his Nazi army to storm the Capitol Building and halt one of our nation’s most democratic requirements, the certification of the Electoral College.

The terrifying, disgusting, and violent insurrection soon became the darkest day in American history. Many good men and women were injured, and some were killed, as the bloodthirsty mob searched for the two people they were ordered to kill: Vice-President, Mike Pence, and Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. Your illegitimate president clearly ordered and planned an act defined by the word “treason.”

Yesterday, as I watched a recording of one of the late-night television shows, a clip of a meeting in the White House was shown. Trump and his totally unqualified cabinet were engaged in one of their three-hour meetings. What was shown during the short clip was embarrassing, and confirmed Trump’s position as a vile and ruthless dictator.

One by one his appointed stooges offered an embarrassing amount of undeserved praise for their Fuhrer. Each of these men displayed the fact that they had abandoned their own integrity and substance as a man. There was not a single “man” in the room.

Meanwhile, Trump constantly dozed off as effusive and revolting praise filled the room in what is left of the White House. Dozing Donnie confirmed that he is far too old and incompetent to perform the job for which he was illegally and illegitimately elected.

I admit the fact that when I was in high school, I failed to understand the value of studying history and how it changed the world for better or worse.

However, today, I cannot read enough about our nation’s past. I know that if we don’t learn from our past mistakes, they will be repeated and become even more destructive.

As I watched the sad, pitiful display of human beings proffering themselves before their dictator, I was reminded of where I had read about such a sickening displays of cowardice and complete submission in previous autocratic regimes.

From 1924 until 1953 when he died, Josef Stalin ruled over Russia with a bloody, iron fist. He imprisoned and murdered thousands of his own people. His generals and other loyal supporters offered him the same type of adulation as did Trump’s clowns.

Trump’s most infamous idol, Adolf Hitler, ruled Germany from 1933 until he committed suicide in 1945. Like Stalin, his meetings devolved into a love fest for the man who would be king of the world.

Today, the same actions are expected by those who serve Russia’s Vladimir Putin, North Korea’s, Kim Jong-un, and your illegitimate president, Donald John Trump.

The facts are irrefutable. Not a single member of Trump’s inner circle is even slightly qualified to hold their positions of power and influence.

The worst five are well-known.

Trump’s original nominee for Attorney General was Matt Gaetz. However, his list of alleged crimes was so long, he was forced to remove himself from consideration.

Recent murders and displays of arrogance have proven that Trump’s choice for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, was abominable and unforgivable. How is it that a part time Fox personality, known to be a raging alcoholic, a womanizer, (information from his own mother), and a man forced to resign his position as the head of a military charity because he embezzled funds, receive such an important position.

What can I say about Robert Kennedy Jr. that you don’t already know. He is clearly mentally deranged. His beliefs oppose medical science. It is a crime that one man’s opinions are forced upon 340 million people.

Before Tulsi Gabbard defected from the Democratic Party, and joined the American Nazi Party, she revealed a very low level of intelligence during the presidential debates. How hilarious is it that she is now Trump’s Director of National Intelligence? She is definitely not smarter than a fifth grader.

Trump created a position for his most generous campaign contributor, Elon Musk. The department created to justify Musk’s position, DOGE, was a complete failure and created a level of chaos in Washington never seen before. When the bromance ended, Musk threatened to make an effort to create his own political party. Never happened.

I would be remiss if I didn’t include “Little” Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, Kristi Noem as the head of Homeland Security, Kash Patel, Director of the FBI, and fellow criminal conspirator Pam Bondi as Attorney General. Each of these individuals would be rejected when applying for a job at a McDonald’s franchise.

What a country!
