Trump has no Power, so Why Do They Fear Him, Why are They so Cowardly?

Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart

Recently MAGA Republicans backed away from a bill agreed to by President Biden, a bill they asked for many times. It would have virtually closed our nation’s southern border with Mexico. Their only reason for reversing their position 180 degrees were words from America’s worst former president.

I am no fan of Ronna McDaniel However, her only reason for removing herself as the Republican leader in the RNC is Trump’s demand that she steps aside. His plan to replace her is founded on nepotism. His plan is to place forgotten son Eric’s wife in this powerful position.

TRUMP IS A POWERLESS COWARD AND A BULLY

I ask, “why are today’s fake Republicans afraid of Trump?” His only weapon is the hot air coming from his lips. He has no powers other than those surrendered by right-wing politicians and his fascist cult.

Over the last nine years we watched two situations unfold. What began in 1981 came to fruition on January 20, 2017. With the inauguration of Donald John Trump came the end of the once Grand Old Party. Today’s Republicans are nothing but pretenders. The second was the desperation of these right-wing extremists. They will do anything to win elections, including the sacrifice of their own principles, morals, integrity, and the future of their nation.

TODAY’S REPUBLICANS ARE COWARDS AND HYPOCRITES

By surrendering their power to the worst man in the world they display levels of cowardice and hypocrisy never witnessed before in Washington. As their ‘base’ continues to diminish, they are desperate for Trump’s support and therefore the support of his fascist cult. The primary reason I can prove that there are few true Republicans left today is founded in the fact that unlike their predecessors, they have no loyalty to the American people and refuse to do the right thing.

As an Independent, I recognized these facts in 2000 when the man I believe to be the second worst president in history was supported by his party. It was obvious he was using methods both immoral and unethical to prevent John McCain from winning the Republican Party nomination. “W” was nearly as unqualified as Trump. During his eight years in office, using the economic policy known as trickle-down economics, and placing our nation in two illegal and unwinnable wars, Bush divided our nation and nearly placed our nation in a second Great Depression.

It is important to understand that although I believe political parties are harmful to democracy, leading to situations including incompetence and corruption, our current system will remain dysfunctional without two parties who place America’s people first.

FORMER MEMBERS OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAVE ALLOWED TRUMP TO BECOME THEIR FUHRER

Today’s former Republicans have surrendered all of their power to a man without any abilities, with low intellect, who has no morals and is now confirmed as a lifelong criminal. Real Republicans, real Americans would place their country ahead of all else. Right-wing politicians place themselves and their party ahead of 330 million people.
