There Will be Only One Legitimate Candidate on the 2024 Ballot

Here are the facts. On November 5, 2024 the American people will choose the man who will lead our nation for the next four years. This man must be an American citizen who will keep his oath to serve every American and preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

Tradition demands that he be qualified for the office he seeks, and possess a strong moral character. By law, he must be at least 35 years of age, and a natural born citizen who has been a resident of the United States for 14 consecutive years.

ACCORDING TO THESE STANDARDS, ONLY ONE LEGITIMATE CANDIDATE WILL BE ON THE BALLOT IN NOVEMBER

Other than the last sentence I previously wrote, only President Biden is qualified to be our nation’s president. Trump is unfit for any office at any level.

I’m going to forget the fact that the 14^th Amendment prevents Trump from running for office, and the Court ignored the Constitution. Let’s take a look at everything else which prevents Trump from being your president.

Trump proved that he is not capable or willing to lead our nation. When the American people needed its president, Trump failed so badly his grade of F- is appropriate.

He was told about the serious threat of a pandemic approaching our nation in December of 2019. In January, as the press began reporting the fact that a deadly form of coronavirus was spreading through Asia and Europe, Trump told the American people, “it will just go away.” In March, Americans began to lose their lives from Covid-19. The pandemic, which would “just go away,” is responsible for the loss of more than one million lives in the United States.

THE PRESIDENT MUST SERVE ALL OF THE PEOPLE

Trump violated his oath of office every day he pretended to be your president. He was impeached twice for cause, but Moscow Mitch McConnell refused to hold a fair trial in the Senate.

Our president must serve all of our nation’s 330 million people. By his own words, we know one fact: he refuses to serve anyone who is not loyal to him. That means than more than one-half of our country’s people will not have representation in the White House if Trump is allowed to defile our nation’s premier residence again.

UNFIT FOR OFFICE AND LACKS PRINCIPLES AND A MORAL COMPASS

Between 2017 and 2021 Trump proved that he is unqualified to perform the duties of President of the United States. When he ordered all of his academic records sealed, I began to question the validity of his degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business College.

Trump has no morals. He is a both a lifetime criminal and a sexual predator. Time and time again he proved that he had no interest in serving our nation’s people. His loyalty to Vladimir Putin began in 1987, and their relationship continues today.

IRREFUTABLE TRUTH THAT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS NON-EXISTENT IN 2024

By the time I was allowed to vote at the age of 21 in 1967, I knew that I would always be an Independent. I despise the idea of political parties. Every voter should cast his or her ballot for the person whose views on the issues are most closely aligned with his or her own.

I admired several Republicans, even when I disagreed with their position on the issues. I found their support of individual rights and freedoms interesting. Their position in support of small businesses was admirable.

The men and women on the right side of the aisle may call themselves “Republicans,” but are not. They belong to Trump and his fascist plans for our nation’s future.

They no longer believe in less government control over our nation’s people. The truth is clear. These men and women are attempting to control everything in our lives, including which religion to practice. They no longer have any interest in small business, they are owned by the super-rich and our nation’s most profitable corporations. Their votes are bought and paid for.

When the 2000 election approached, I realized that I could no longer vote for any Republican running for a position in our federal government.

As I began writing, I began reading more and more about my country’s history. The demise of the once Grand Old Party began with the presidency of Ronald Reagan. He demanded 100 percent loyalty from every Republican in Washington. Dissent and free thought were not allowed.

His fiscal policy was a disaster, but he will be remembered by me and others as the Republican who began wars on minorities, women, and the working class.

Trump simply completed Reagan’s plans, and is responsible for the final implosion of the Party of Lincoln.

The American people are left with one choice in 2024. By definition, Trump could never be an American president.
