Contenders for the Worst Supreme Court Justice in History

The government of the United States of America is the most corrupt, and the least effective in the free world in 2024. The one branch of government which gave me some hope was the Supreme Court, until 2020.
Today’s Court is stacked 6-3 in favor of the former Republican Party. On one of the darkest days in our nation’s history, five men and one woman removed a guarantee to all women that they could legally make decisions about their own mental and physical health, and their future. On June 24, 2022, these cowardly, anti-Americans repealed a 49-year-old decision by a legitimate Court known as Roe v Wade.
I FIND NO REDEEMING QUALITIES IN THESE REPUBLICAN PUPPETS
The first time I watched Senate hearings for the purpose of confirming a Supreme Court justice was in 1991.
The first Black justice, Thurgood Marshall, retired, and George H.W. Bush nominated another Black man to fill his seat, Clarence Thomas.
The hearings became highly animated and contentious. One Thomas aide, a Black woman by the name of Anita Hill testified before the old, mostly white men of the Senate. She accused Thomas of sexual misconduct. She was not so subtly accused of lying.
However, the good old boys club confirmed Thomas by a vote of 52-48.
Thomas became Justice Antonin Scalia’s boy toy, and earned the reputation as one of the worst members of the Court in history.
ANOTHER BUSH, AND ANOTHER UNFIT, JUSTICE
In 2005, the man who in my estimation is the second worst president in history, George W. Bush, nominated Samuel Alito for the vacant seat on the bench. He was confirmed in January of 2006 by a vote of 58-42.
Like Thomas, Alito is clearly a Trump supporter. Both men are violating their oaths by not remaining impartial. On the day he was sworn in Alito promised the American people that he would not become a political pawn. Liar.
THOMAS THREW DOWN THE GAUNTLET AND ALITO ACCEPTED
It appears to me that these men are in a fight to see who will be rated as the worst justice in American history.
Thomas and wife Ginny have been accused of offering their allegiance to the worst, illegitimate president in history. Ginny participated in the January 6 insurrection.
Recently a New York Times reporter claimed that he witnessed Alito wearing an upside-down flag pin at his home just days after the failed coup. This has become a symbol for “stop the steal.”
IF WE CANNOT TRUST THE SUPREME COURT TO DO THE RIGHT THING, THERE IS NO HOPE FOR AMERICA
What we have in America today is a President who is facing a “do nothing” Congress, most significantly the shattered House of Representatives. The Freedom Caucus continues to hold the House hostage to accomplish their fascist-leaning agenda.
Now that the Court has become politicized, all three branches are dysfunctional.
There is no doubt that if our founding fathers had created term limits for all three branches, and ignored the demands of less populated states by refusing to establish the Electoral College, our government would not be in such a sad condition.
Rules and laws can be changed, but the American government lacks the courage and the will to do the right thing.
However, history will prove that the biggest mistake made in 1789 was giving lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court. Our nation could be harmed for decades by the justices appointed by Trump. Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett are young and woefully unqualified. The only reason for their nominations was a promise to overturn Roe v Wade.
