In America, if You are a Patriotic Member of the Working Class, Trust No One

I am a 78-year-old man who is loyal to his country, a man who opposes organized religion, a liberal, meaning I care about others as much as I care about myself, but I do not trust anyone in my government. In fact, I trust no one who is in a position of power, and that includes Trump’s oligarchs/billionaires. It took four decades for me to learn to see the undeniable truth.

If you trust Trump, you would have trusted Hitler in 1930’s Germany. Trump uses the same tactics, and they are effective either because Americans are stupid, or because they share his hatred of freedoms, including free thought and the right to do anything which does not infringe upon the rights of others. If you are one of the few adamant supporters of the worst traitor in America’s history, you are undoubtedly a white supremacist and a regressive who wants America to return to “the dark old days.”

Since the death of the greatest President in American history in 1945, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, our nation began to devolve into the chaotic and disjointed country it is today. Our nation’s leaders, most incompetent, and mad with power, began to lead us down a path which led us to the dark days of the 20^st century.

Although a few of our leaders had good intentions, only John Kennedy could be labeled as a great president. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden were leaders with great intentions, but were too weak to challenge the evil from the right side of the aisle which began with Ronald Reagan in 1981.

The truth is that both parties experienced changes beginning in 1981 until today. Neither of them remained focused on their principles as the evil of politics and political parties began to take preference over the future of the American people.

In 2025, one political party, calling themselves “Republicans,” have surrendered to the super-rich. It doesn’t matter what you call them, billionaires or oligarchs, they are intent on controlling the future of our nation. They own every right-wing politician, including your illegitimate president. The future of every American is now in the incapable the hands of 813 greedy and uncaring men and women.

The individuals who control our nation in 2025 have no interest in your loyalty or support for the nation created by our Founding Fathers. They are focused on their next billion dollars, most of which are secured by the suffering of the majority.

If you and I lose this second American Revolution, the only satisfaction for real patriots will be the end of the ambitions of the oligarchs who support the worst illegitimate president in history today. They cannot survive without consumerism, but are too ignorant to face reality.

Please don’t give up the good fight. Some things are worth fighting for.
