Trump Administration Clearly Supporting Vladimir Putin

Let’s take a look back into the dark days of the first illegitimate Trump administration. The connections between Trump, his “people,” and Vladimir Putin were undeniable, and supported by “Republican” politicians.

From August of 2016 until election day, the man who financed Trump’s campaign was Robert Mercer. Mercer is a billionaire whose closest friends include Russian oligarchs. He is the primary supporter of the right-wing extremist blog and radio broadcast, “Breitbart.” Two years after the illegitimate election, it was confirmed that Trump and Putin were in constant contact during the 2016 campaign. The plan to win the presidency began in Moscow in 2013.

Trump’s first Secretary of State was Rex Tillerson. Tillerson formerly held the position of CEO in the Exxon Corporation. More significantly, he was close friends with Vladimir Putin, and conducted many business arrangements with the Russian President. Tillerson received the highest honor a civilian can receive who is not a Russian citizen from Putin himself.

Commerce Secretary, Wilbur Ross, had one extremely important tie to Putin. Prior to joining Trump’s administration, he was the president of the Bank of Cyprus. This bank is owned by Vladimir Putin.

There were many other less significant ties to Russia within the Trump administration. He also had one, powerful friend in the Senate.

When a Senate Committee voted to sanction Russia for its interference in our 2016 election, then Senate Majority Leader, Moscow Mitch McConnell, refused to allow a vote on the floor of the Capitol.

In 2025, it is clear that every member of Trump’s woefully unqualified administration supports fascism and is loyal to Putin, not to the American people. It sickened me to watch Trump’s co-president, Elon Musk, offer the Nazi salute to “Trump’s people” not once, but twice.

Pete Hegseth did not have a single qualification for his position as Secretary of Defense. He is a raging alcoholic, and a sexual predator, who embezzled funds from two military charities he once led.

Just days ago, Hegseth ordered the suspension of the “U.S. Cyber Command to suspend offensive cyber and information operations against Russia,” according to multiple reports. Another homage to Putin.

In 2016 and 2024 Putin’s hackers, considered the best in the world, interfered in our elections. I am positive that both of Trump’s “victories” were fraudulent and his presidency today is illegitimate. More importantly, our government knows the truth and is hiding it from our nation’s people.

Facts you can investigate yourself. Trump first met with Putin in Moscow in 1987. This relationship continued for decades. Twice, Putin and his oligarchs saved Trump Corp from bankruptcy by purchasing over-priced New York and South Florida real estate.

The dossier composed by former MI-6 agent, Christopher Steele during Trump’s visit to Moscow in 2013, was released in 2016. It has never been disproven. During Trump’s first illegitimate presidency, he remained in frequent contact with Putin. This did not end after he was evicted from the White House on January 20, 2021.

Trump has been called “Putin’s Puppet.” The title is 100 percent accurate and the orange buffoon wears it proudly.
