A Nation Reuniting?
Trump’s primary effort in 2017 and for the next four years
was to divide our nation’s people. The plan, co-created by his puppeteer,
Vladimir Putin, worked very well. “Divide and conquer” was their motto, and
because most Americans learn everything they know from television, it was a
major success.
During the 2024 campaign, empty seats dominated the stories
about Trump’s hate rallies. That was just the beginning. Kamala Harris received
massive amounts of campaign donations, far surpassing those of the old man.
After another election, which I am convinced was once again
rigged by Putin, Trump is extremely unpopular with the two most important
groups: Democrats and Independents. Once again, I believe our corrupt
government is hiding the truth, hiding their incompetence. There are signs at
every protest calling Trump what he is, a fascist, and demanding his removal
from the White House. The right wing’s fascist manifesto, Project 2025, is
being checked off plan by plan. The 922-page document will be complete before
2026 at the current pace of Trump’s crimes against his own country.
A number of prominent Republicans are taking a stand against
Trump and his destructive policies, but not his cowardly and hypocritical party
in Washington. Being a professional politician is a choice. Most politicians
seek public office for two reasons: they want to obtain wealth and power, and
they are too lazy to work for a living. Their aides do all the work. They show
up for votes on the Capitol floor, most of the time, but the remainder is spent
campaigning for reelection, attending lavish parties, dinners, and other events.
Let’s not mince words, no one on the right side of the aisle
is to be trusted. I am aware that most of the men and women who call themselves
“Republicans” despise Trump. However, cowardice is rampant in Washington. Fear
of losing an election is of greater importance than doing their jobs and
serving the American people.
America is already embracing fascism and rejecting
democracy. Not a single elected “Republican” will stand before the television
cameras and denounce Trump’s fascist manifesto, Project 2025. He is following
that playbook page by page.
I send out quotes to several family and friends every day. The
subject today was “who do you trust.” I have learned not to trust anyone unless
they earn it. Trust and respect go hand in hand, and respect is my standard for
any relationship I might consider.
I find all politicians, including members of all three
branches of our government, despicable, self-serving, and totally undeserving
of my trust, and therefore my respect.
As for your illegitimate president, I hope he rots where he
belongs, in hell. He is one man being allowed to destroy my beloved country,
and for that he deserves my unwanted, and dark emotions.
