My Final Article: May the United States of America R.I.P.
I was conceived in Seattle, Washington at the end of WWII. I
was born in July of 1946 in Lewiston Idaho. My family moved to Los Angeles in
1952 where jobs were readily available.
My father served in the United States Navy throughout the
war. My mother was one of many “Rosie the Riveters” working at Boeing Aircraft.
Everything I saw in my youngest years in public involved
extreme patriotism. Flags were seen everywhere. Old posters like “Uncle Sam
Needs You” were taped on the sides of buildings and on fences. Everything
seemed to be painted red, white, and blue.
My parents split up when I was about nine years old. My
mother, brother, and I lived in a duplex near my maternal grandparents, and
later to an apartment just a few doors down for my Catholic School and the
church. When we got our first television with a nine-inch screen, the picture
in black and white, a local television station broadcast a lot of movies: most
of them were about the war, and starred John Wayne starred in many of them.
Before our school day began, we stood and faced the American
flag, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Everyone seemed to be celebrating the end of the war and the
defeat of the greatest tyrant in history. American soldiers had been a major
part of the joint military forces that defeated Hitler and his plan to conquer
the world and make it one, huge, fascist state.
In 2016, the leader of America’s Neo-Nazi movement moved into
the White House. His election was proven to be illegitimate, but our spineless
and corrupt government allowed him to remain in office, even though he was
impeached twice. Moscow Mitch McConnell, another traitor, refused to give Trump
a fair trial in the Senate on both occasions.
Today, May 3, 2025, Trump is once again defiling the White
House after another illegitimate election. In 2024, a corrupt and treasonous
Supreme Court declared presidents immune from prosecution for virtually any
crime. Trump is taking full advantage of this unconstitutional act, and putting
into action the Republican, fascist manifesto, Project 2025. 80 years after our
nation celebrated the defeat of fascism, America is in the control of a Fuhrer.
The truth: Trump is Putin’s puppet. In addition, he could
not enact the destruction of America without the assistance of his American
Fascist Party and his 813 oligarchs who are funding his every vile and
destructive action.
As I watch America die, I am angry, no, I’m furious, but
more importantly I’m sad. I have written thousands of articles about Trump and
Putin over the last 10 years, but most of our nation’s people appear not to
care.
I have been wasting my time: real Americans have lost the
war. I don’t have the energy or the time to waste anymore. I am the same age as
Trump: I will be 79 in July, and no one at this age can predict that he or she
will awaken the next day.
I feel as though most of America’s people are willing to
accept the end of our freedoms and rights, and welcome Trump as our country’s
first dictator. I will not. I grew up in a time when America was filled with patriotism,
and our people were united in a fight against fascism.
I do not recognize this country and will no longer fight to
inform our nation’s people about the dangers of right-wing extremists and the
plans made between Trump and Putin which began in 1987: 38 years ago. I cannot
fight for people who don’t fight for themselves any longer.

I wish you all good luck
