The Antichrist Continues to Use Religion as a Justification for Evil

Read the First Amendment carefully. Our Founding Fathers considered these promises, these guarantees of human rights, the most important paragraph ever written.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

The first line was obviously extremely important to the men who signed the Constitution in 1789. The “straw that broke the camel’s back,” and why they left England, was the declaration by King George III that the Anglican Church would be the single religion in the British Empire.

This single sentence clearly demands the separation of Church and State. It guarantees all Americans the right to practice the religion of their choice, but also guarantees freedom from religion. I am one of about 100 million American citizens who reject all organized religion and the First Amendment prevents anyone, or any group from forcing their religious beliefs on others.

By definition, and by his own actions and words, Trump is the Antichrist. He is placing himself and his ambitions ahead of all men and their Gods. He demands the same fealty and devotion freely given to Jesus Christ, Mohammad, Yahweh, Jehovah, Buddha, or any other religious entity. This is the ultimate goal of the Antichrist foretold in the Bible.

In 1981 Ronald Reagan openly declared his belief in Christianity, claiming that he considered it the one true religion. This was the beginning of the Christian Religious Right in collusion with leaders of the Evangelical branch of the Christian religion.

Facts prove that the CRR immediately took control of what was then the Republican Party, and more respectfully, the Grand Old Party. Since 1981, every right-wing politician votes according to the demands of these religious extremists. Although these professional politicians violate the First Amendment every day, no one is doing anything about it. Not once has the mainstream media, formerly the fourth estate, discussed this on any television broadcast. The Constitution means nothing to them, but possessing great wealth does.

Look at the truth. Both a woman’s right to make choices about her own physical and mental health, abortion, and same-sex marriage would not have become major issues without the interference and demands of the CRR.

This week a federal court, biased in favor of Trump and his fascist agenda, reneged on a policy which prevented religious groups and organizations from endorsing political candidates. This allows religions to campaign for specific men and women and not lose their tax-exempt status.

Let’s be totally honest. Many religious leaders are billionaires/oligarchs but are not required to report their income because the IRS has no recourse. These men and women have multiple mansions, private jets, and secretly spend their fortunes freely without consideration for their followers. This is what they consider “freedom of religion.”

Fact: Vatican City is the wealthiest country in the world.

The government of the United States of America is the most corrupt and dysfunctional in the world. Professional politicians no longer work for their constituents, their priorities are personal gain and increasing the power of their parties.

They have no morals or principles. They are willing to do anything to amass power and great wealth, and the people be damned. Every right-wing politician in Washington surrendered their integrity, trust, and respect to serve Fuhrer Donald John Trump. They have become traitors to America, which is composed of 340 million people, not buildings and war machines.

Lastly, I will always defend the right of all men and women to practice the faith of their choice, or none at all, as guaranteed by the First Amendment. As my grandfather taught me about 70 years ago, “religion is a personal thing and should be kept that way.”
