All Signs Point to Trump’s Inability to Complete Four Years
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
If you read me regularly, I frequently offer my opinion that
Trump would not complete his second term as your illegitimate president just
weeks after the inauguration. I am no longer alone. Other political writers are
noticing a steep decline in his physical and mental abilities.
What did you expect? Although I expected the truth to come
into the light of day, confirming that the 2016 and 2024 elections were “rigged
by Putin,” Trump is the oldest man ever elected, legally or illegally, to the presidency.
If we look at Trump’s “second coming” on January 20, 2025,
it was immediately clear that Trump lacks any ability to think clearly. Bringing
Elon Musk into his administration was ignorant and irresponsible. Musk, like
Trump, had no experience at any level in government. Trump claimed that he
would reduce the national debt by at least two trillion dollars. He did not
At the same time, Trump was planning to place tariffs on
everyone, including our closest allies, destroying the efforts of his
predecessors to encourage free trade and strengthen the world’s economy. He was
warned that this failed policy would add as much as 10 trillion dollars to the
national debt, contradicting his decision to create the “Department of
Government Efficiency.”
However, for me, this is old news. What might interest you
are opinions from trained medical personnel.
Their observations include tales which were clearly fantasy.
Trump claimed that his uncle knew the Unabomber. On another occasion be told
reporters that he knew a great deal about science because he had an uncle who graduated
from MIT and was the greatest scientist in the world. And of course, his
biggest lie, claiming that he won the 2020 election, although more than 60
state courts and his own stacked Supreme Court threw out his court filings,
citing no evidence.
In 2015 Trump allowed the press and everyone else to learn
about his private life. Over the last 10 years the orange buffoon confirmed his
affliction with malignant narcissism.
Malignant Narcissism: “A term for an extreme, destructive
form of narcissism characterized by a combination of narcissistic traits
(grandiosity, entitlement) with antisocial behaviors, sadism (delighting in
others' pain), and paranoia. Unlike other forms of narcissism, malignant
narcissists actively seek to harm, manipulate, and control others for their own
gain, often showing little to no remorse. While not a formal diagnosis in the
DSM-5, it's recognized by mental health professionals as a severe and dangerous
manifestation of narcissistic personality disorder.”
Physical decline: We have all watched Trump attempt to walk
on uneven surfaces. We watched him fall asleep at his own criminal trial. After
pictures of his ankles were revealed, showing serious swelling and discoloration,
his staff admitted that he is suffering from “chronic venous insufficiency,” a
disease common among men over the age of 70.
I am three weeks younger than Trump and suffer from a
similar problem.
Another sign of old age was discovered in the Oval Office.
His right hand was marred with a large, red bruise. He tried to cover it up,
but failed.
I have experienced the same problems. At 79, I bruise very
easily and often.
All of these physical problems are not serious by
themselves. However, I can tell you that added together, they can become extremely
dangerous and debilitating as the months and years race by.
The real problem is simple: No man or woman nearing the label
“octogenarian” should become our nation’s president. The aging process is
normal and inevitable. Trust me: I hate the problems I face every day.
Reality: the average age of all Americans in 2025 is 38.7
years of age. Trump and I more than double that number. It is a display of
great ignorance that anyone believes this young nation can be effectively
governed by an elderly, inexperienced, obese man who displays a growing, disabling
malady, like dementia.
Over the last seven months and nine days, every action,
every word originating from Trump has been destructive. The term is “you get
what you paid for.”
