How the Three Worst Presidents in History Brought an End to the Party of Lincoln
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump are
responsible for the demise of the Party of Lincoln. Those who call themselves
“Republicans” today are imposters. They have no resemblance to their
predecessors. Ten years ago they surrendered their integrity, principles, and
morals to Putin’s puppet. They are more appropriately called the “American Nazi
Party” in 2025.
After years of research, reading and re-reading the history
of America’s 249 years, I am positive that Reagan, Bush, and Trump are the
three worst presidents in America’s 249-year history. Their actions, demands,
and policies forced the demise of the once Grand Old Party.
These three old, white men ignored the needs and wishes of
the majority of our nation’s people, choosing to serve our country’s wealthiest
men and women: billionaires/oligarchs.
Reagan, Bush, and Trump share many qualities, none of them
positive, progressive, or relevant to making America a great country.
All three wannabe dictators demanded unfettered loyalty.
Records show that not a single member of the Republican Party refused to vote
in support of policies and ambitions of the three self-serving incompetents.
Their demands caused the dysfunction which exists on Capitol
Hill today. Our nation’s two major political parties have become enemies. “Republicans”
refuse to engage in honest and sincere deliberation with their Democratic
counterparts. Compromise is out of the question.
Reagan was more secretive and more intelligent than Bush and
Trump. Little is known about his affiliation with leaders of foreign nations.
The Bush family had close ties to the Saudi Royal Family.
One incident reveals what may offer proof that their relationship bordered on
criminal activities, and possibly treason.
After the cowardly attacks on 9/11, all air traffic other
than by the United States military was grounded. However, members of the Saudi
Royal family were allowed to leave American soil on their private aircraft and
return to Saudi Arabia. There is no record of who the passengers were on that
flight.
Remember, 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were Saudi
nationals. The architect of the attacks on American soil, Osama bin Laden, was
a member of the Royal Family.
Trump and Putin are “brothers from another mother.” Since
1987 they have maintained a secret and controversial relationship.
Watchdog groups, devoted to discovering corruption within
our government, continue to gather information about the 2016 and 2024
elections. It is becoming clear that not only did Putin interfere in the 2016,
2020, and 2024 elections, Russian hackers succeeded in 2016 and 2024.
Today, Trump is once again your illegitimate president.
Trump continues to protect Putin’s interests and offered him
his praise and admiration more than 80 times over the last 10 years.
All three men served their oligarchs: placing their bloated
profits ahead of the quality of life for the majority. Each added trillions of
dollars to the national debt, while their rich friends placed billions of
dollars in offshore accounts.
The former Republican Party was in their way. Dissention,
free thought, and exercising their rights to free speech threatened their destructive
plans for America’s future. Power meant everything to these traitors. They could
not allow a single man or woman running for office under the “Republican”
banner to take sides with Democrats. Although there is no question about Trump
being a dictator, Reagan and Bush were no better.
While they were satisfying their own ambitions, their fiscal
policy of “trickle-down economics” destroyed America’s economy.
Bush is responsible for our country’s involvement in two unwinnable
wars. The cost of those wars, lives and money, moved our nation close to
another Great Depression by 2009.
Trump chose to ignore a rapidly approaching healthcare
emergency. By the time he was evicted from the White House in 2021, another depression
was looming, and more than one million American lives were lost.
Reagan, Bush, and Trump altered America’s future in the 21st
century and very likely for many decades to come. The once respected Party of
Lincoln has been erased and is nothing more than a memory. For Independent
voters, like me, this is both sad and a travesty for the future of our Founding
Father’s efforts to create the greatest country in the world.
