Is the Dream of Our Founding Fathers Important to You: Do You Know What That Dream Was All About?

Our Founding Fathers left the country of their origin for numerous reasons. However, the primary reason was far simpler than what is contained in the volumes written by historians. It comes down to one issue: human rights.

Everything they accomplished at the Constitutional Convention between 1787 and 1789 was focused on the individual. The country belongs to the people. They choose their leaders who are nothing more than public servants. Their creation of a ‘check and balance system,’ three branches with equal but separate powers, would prevent what is happening today. There was never going to be king of the United States of America, or any other form of autocrat. However, one unconstitutional and immoral action by six corrupt members of the Supreme Court voided their intent.

Our government is in chaos, totally out of control. Sadly, the men and women we elected to serve and protect us have become our enemies. If they are not working for us, they are working against us.

Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Madison, Monroe, and the others who signed the Constitution were wealthy, loyal Englishmen. However, they disagreed with King George III about the rights and freedoms of his subjects. Finally, when the King declared that the Anglican Church would be the one, true religion of the British Empire, that was the end. They joined together and decided to move to the New Land in pursuit of lives of freedom and justice for all. This is why they created the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of our government. They gave slightly more power to the legislative branch. They believed this would prevent any man from becoming too powerful and have absolute control over the entire nation.

It worked for 248 years until Moscow Mitch McConnell stacked the Supreme Court with three radical justices. They joined the three traitors who already were in place on the Court and began to destroy the very fabric of our nation. They have been rewriting laws which protected human rights and allow the extremists on the right side of the aisle to create a fascist regime and place into power an old, obese traitor who “would be king.”

What the Court did was nothing less than a sin. They spat in the face of 340 million people. By giving Trump complete immunity, they created an autocrat who is openly violating the Constitution every minute of every day.

All autocrats/dictators/Fuhrers fear the promises contained in the First Amendment. Trump is taking apart the most important guarantees in the Bill of Rights piece by piece.

Trump has aligned himself with Evangelical leaders in violation the rights of all Americans to practice the religion of their own choice, and protect men and women like me who choose not to join any organized religion.

Trump is currently seeking revenge against anyone who disagreed with his fascist policies over the last 10 years. His efforts to destroy the free press have been successful. More Americans believe what they see and hear on right-wing propaganda machines like Fox and Newsmax than any legitimate news service.

The Fourth Estate no longer exists. The one group, protected by the First Amendment, designed to expose corruption and criminal action in Washington, lost its courage and dedication to the truth in 2017.

Trump continues to place more American cities and states in a state of Martial Law. Why? He fears that the number of peaceful protests against him will grow and force action which would physically remove him from power. Our government is weak and corrupt, but the will of the people is a super power.

The primary reason I loved my country BT, Before Trump, was its concern for and devotion to the rights of the individual, while protecting the rights of the majority from any individual whose intent is focused on harming the nation as a whole.

Free thought and free speech have been the cornerstones of all American principles. A fascist regime cannot exist when these two rights are removed from the Bill of Rights.
