It’s a Damn Good Thing We Don’t Need a Federal Government

The truth: the American people have not had an effective and
caring government since 1981. Under the Reagan administration, the government
created by our Founding Fathers between 1787 and 1789 became nothing but a
memory. The idea of a “Democratic Republic,” where sincere deliberation and
compromise solved many of our nation’s problems, simply disappeared.
What was a two-party system ceased to exist. Democrats and
Republicans barely spoke to each other. The focus shifted from the people to
winning elections and maintaining power. The situation is far worse today than
anyone could have imagined.
In 2017 it was very clear that one of Trump’s primary goals,
agreed upon between him and his Russian puppeteer, was to divide our nation’s
people and our government to a level not seen since the Civil War. “Divide and
conquer” is Trump’s administration’s mantra.
What began 38 years ago was complete. What hasn’t happened
in those 38 years is a travesty. The same problems which our nation faced then,
remain problems today. Income inequality, free healthcare for every citizen,
affordable or free higher education, sensible immigration reform, not
imprisoning and torturing men, women, and children who are not legally in our
country, women’s fight for equality, and protecting the First, Fourth, and 14th
Amendment rights of all Americans, remain serious problems which continue to grow
in 2025. These facts prove that our federal government has become the most
incompetent and corrupt in the world.
Not one promise made by Trump during the 2024 campaign has
been addressed by Trump’s incapable administration. They wouldn’t know what to
do if they tried. Trump’s focus is solely on establishing a fascist regime designed
to protect the profits of his 813 oligarchs, who are in complete control of our
nation’s future. In just seven months, America has moved from being a
democratic nation and become a nation ruled by a fascist dictator. The sad
thing is that no one is doing anything which might halt our nation’s destruction.
Democrats, and the mainstream media are talking around the
truth. Trump is unfit for any public office, and is clearly the leader of
America’s Neo-Nazi movement. Who will stand up for the people? Who will speak
truth to power? Not the worst federal government in the world.
