Trump is now Fucking with my and my Wife’s Lives; Literally

Republicans hate older Americans, including their own families. It is far more important to increase the bloated bank accounts of our nation’s 813 billionaires than to care for our elderly.

What is “COLA?” This is the annual adjustment to Social Security checks, allegedly to account for inflation, which is a greater threat to seniors than any other group. Like my wife and I, our Social Security checks account for all or most of our monthly income.

The increase is rarely enough to keep our quality of living consistent. However, Trump and his latest fascist appointee want to eliminate the two percent increase we receive each year, although our grocery store bill is 60 percent higher than it was a year ago.

E.J. Antoni, who comes from the fascist extremist group, the Heritage Foundation, calls our annual increase a "Ponzi scheme."

Obviously, he has no understanding how Social Security is funded or how it was intended to work.

Social Security has been bastardized by the most incompetent and corrupt government in the world. In 1935 it became a law. It was perfect. Employers and employees would contribute equal amounts to the program. The general fund was free from participation with the exception of administration. At the age of 65, each working class American would receive monthly payments based on their contributions throughout their years of employment.

However, our incompetent federal legislature continued to add programs to Social Security over the last 90 years and today it is nearly broke.

These contributions did and do not belong to the federal government, and adding the term “entitlement” is far from the truth. Political advantage is a professional politician’s ultimate goal. Social Security belongs to the people, and any other use is nothing less than embezzlement.

The federal government of the United States has been far from perfect in my 79 years. However, the level of corruption in the 21^st century is criminal.

My wife and I paid into our only retirement program for more than 40 years, and our corrupt government must not fuck with it or there will be hell to pay. No Republican will ever receive the vote of a single senior citizen.
