236 Years Ago, Mistakes by our Founding Fathers Helped Create the Tragic Events We Memorialize Today: 9-11-2025
At the close of the Constitutional Convention in 1789, our
Founding Fathers were fully aware that mistakes had been made. Possibly their
biggest mistake was assuming that their successors would rectify their errors
and make the United States of America the greatest country the world had ever
seen.
However, God’s biggest mistake, creating mankind, is greatly
flawed. The men who have ruled over us are afflicted with an innate need for
great power and great wealth. Professional politicians are without a doubt the
worst men and women on the planet.
I will never forget what I was doing 24 years ago on this
date. I was returning from my morning run in the hills near our home. As I was
running up our street, I could see my wife frantically waving at me in our
front yard. I assumed her actions were related to my mother who was terminally
ill. She was living in Idaho.
When I ended my run, my wife simply said, “you have to see
this.” On the television was something unreal. It was more like a disaster
movie than reality. There was smoke coming from the top floors of one of the
towers of the World Trade Center. A short while later, we saw a plane fly into
the second tower. I couldn’t accept what was happening. This couldn’t be real.
This morning I sit at my desk remembering other dates and
the events I watched as they happened on television. I will never forget some
of the darkest days in American history.
I was a senior in high school on November 22, 1963. I was
walking between classes and the usual sounds of voices were quiet. When I was
seated in the classroom, our teacher informed us that President John F. Kennedy
had been murdered in Dallas, Texas. We were all sent home.
Over the next four days we saw nothing but film of that
horrific day and the equally shocking events which followed.
On December 9, 2000, the Supreme Court violated the
Constitutional rights of America’s voters and ended the recount taking place in
Florida, declaring George W. Bush would by our nation’s 43rd
president. I still remember how I felt on that day, and how the Court altered
the path our nation would take in the future.
Although our new president and vice-president were informed
by our nation’s security agencies that an ‘attack on U.S. soil was imminent,’
they went on vacation in the summer of 2001. The attack came on September 11.
On November 8, 2016, the least qualified presidential
candidate in history was given the presidency, defeating the most qualified
candidate in history. Donald Trump had won the Electoral College, but lost the
popular vote to Hillary Clinton by 2.8 million votes.
We now know that the election was rigged, and Trump never
was a legitimate president.
The darkest day in American history happened on January 6,
2021.
My wife and I were watching television when the words, “Breaking
News” came on the screen. Trump was stepping onto a makeshift podium just
outside of the White House and began to speak. He ordered the crowd standing in
front of him to march to the Capitol Building and halt the certification of the
Electoral College vote, falsely claiming that he had won the 2020 election.
The truth was Joe Biden had soundly defeated the worst
president in history.
However, the mob, composed of members of Neo-Nazi leaders
and their followers, obeyed the orange buffoon’s demands and for the next three
hours my wife and I watched a violent attack on our nation’s democracy.
Most recently, on November 5, 2024, our nation suffered another
rigged election. It was obvious when the results were posted that something
simply didn’t make sense.
A comparison between the 2020 election and 2024 were radically
different. A few days later, one of our nation’s most respected tech companies
stated their opinion that Russian hackers had gained access to the voting
machines in all seven swing states.
The result is gloating about his fraudulent victory from a
golf course today. Dictator Donald Trump is destroying the very essence of
America.
If our Founding Fathers had established term limits for all
three branches of our government in 1789, we would not have the level of corruption
and incompetence which exists today.
If the Electoral College did not exist, and every vote
counted, America would never have suffered from the two worst presidents in
history, George W. Bush, and Donald John Trump.
The most destructive villain in this story is the Supreme Court.
Six of the nine justices are corrupt and politically biased. They are nothing
more than tools for the fascist defiling our White House.
It was the Supreme Court which forced Bush on the American people
in 2000, and it was the Supreme Court who ignored the 14th Amendment
and allowed Trump to run in 2024. And it was the Supreme Court who gave Trump
absolute immunity allowing him to violate the Constitution every minute he
remains in office.
One last note: if the Supreme Court had done its job in 2001,
the Patriot Act would not exist. It clearly violates the rights guaranteed by
the Fourth, Fifth, and 14th Amendments.
