Jimmy’s back tonight. After discussions, and probably heated negotiations with Disney, Jimmy Kimmel Live will return to ABC this evening.

We will never know the truth about what was discussed, but I can guess. I won’t offer you my opinion, because that’s just what it would be. I have no inside knowledge.

What I do know is that Mr. Kimmel had good reason to sue Disney for unlawful termination. Voicing an opinion is free speech, and not a legitimate reason for terminating an employee.

I remain upset that Stephen Colbert’s show will end in May. The real reason is obvious. Trump ordered his billionaire/oligarch friends at Paramount to terminate him because his ego was crushed. However, they were smart enough to claim that the reason was a loss of 50 million dollars each year. True or not, this is a valid reason to terminate the popular program.

Disney suspending Jimmy Kimmel indefinitely was an attempt to appease the man-child’s affliction with malignant narcissism.

I’m just glad he is coming back. No one on the right side of the aisle, and only a few on the left, have the courage to speak truth to power. We need more Stephen Colberts and Jimmy Kimmels, and fewer fascists in Washington.

Bessent is not quite a billionaire, yet, but he is a perfect example of how ignorant Trump’s administration is. Scott Bessent is Trump’s unqualified Treasury Secretary. He is not one of the billionaires on Trump’s cabinet, but he is worth 521 million dollars. This one fact prevents the old, white man from understanding what it is to be a real American in the 21 st century.
