Who Was Charlie Kirk?

Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart

The murder of Charlie Kirk was very wrong. Violence accomplishes nothing other than the procreation of more violence. Sadly, mankind lacks sufficient intelligence to learn this over thousands of years watching innocent people die for nothing.

However, I will tell you the truth about the underlying causes for this tragedy, something no one in the mainstream media has the courage to stand up in front of the television cameras and 'tell it like it is.'

Here it is: Charlie Kirk was not a good man. Like Trump, he lied, misrepresented the truth, created conspiracy theories, and spread the orange buffoon’s messages of anger, hatred, and revenge, while inciting violence.

I offer you a few of Charlie Kirk’s “lowlights.”

Said gun deaths are “unfortunately worth it” to preserve the Second Amendment.

Called transgender identity a mental disease, needing “brain treatment.”

Quoted scripture about homosexuality as an “abomination” deserving death. (From the Old Testament, not the words of Jesus Christ, who instructed us to “love one another.”)

Called Martin Luther King Jr. a “myth” and said the Civil Rights Act was a “huge mistake.”

Spread COVID-19 misinformation likening masks and vaccine mandates to “medical apartheid.”

Suggested mass incarceration as a fix for the housing crisis.

Advocated for public, televised executions even for children to watch.

Dismissed Black competence and made demeaning statements about Black women:

He claimed that Michelle Obama and other supporters of affirmative action “lacked the brain processing power” to understand arguments on those policies.

To those of you who might be upset because I used Kirk’s own words against him, I say “get your head out of your ass.” Trump and his fascist horde would make a hero out of Kirk, when it is clear he was a disciple of the Antichrist.

No patriotic American will miss Charlie Kirk. However, I find his murder an abomination, and you should too.

Trump is attacking the right of free speech guaranteed by the First Amendment every day. However, I am sure that he will make remarks claiming that Kirk was killed for “exercising his First Amendment Rights.”

Hypocrisy.
