A Corrupt Justice System Failed to Stop Trump 50 Years Ago
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
The facts about Trump’s past are very sketchy. In 2018, he
had his academic records sealed and nothing about his younger years is public
knowledge with the exception of a few situations. Included is the fact that his father paid for his
deferrments, preventing his son from serving in the war in Vietnam. However,
his constituents within New York’s world of big business offered volumes in
just a few words. Some of the words used were “idiot,” “crooked,” “unscrupulous,”
“lecherous,” and “immoral.”
It was no secret that Trump was willing to lie, cheat on his
taxes, refused to pay contractors, and bribed public officials frequently.
If all that is true, the question becomes, “why was the
orange buffoon never prosecuted for a single crime until 2024?”
The truth is clear to any American citizen who chooses to be
informed.
Trump has become America’s first dictator. He did not
accomplish his personal ambition alone. He was given “absolute immunity” and
placed above the law by six corrupt and extremely biased Supreme Court
Justices.
The truth is, Trump’s entire life of crime has been ignored:
he has always received protection, and placed “above the law.” It is an
undeniable fact that a dual system of justice exists in America: one for the
average citizen, and one for the rich, famous, and powerful.
Let’s play a little game, called “what if?”
First, a fact no one can deny: there is no “justice in
America.” Over the last 45 years, the United States of America has become a
nation without laws. Only the poor and low-income are punished for their
crimes, while the rich and powerful escape with a ‘slap on the wrist’ for the
same or similar crimes.
If there was justice in America Trump would never have
survived six bankruptcies, and dozens of allegations of sexual assault. In
2015, Trump would have been a “nobody,” a “once was.” He would never have been
recruited by Vladimir Putin, and never have been nominated by today’s Fake
Republican Party in 2016.
Without Trump, America would not be facing the end of
democracy and the establishment of a fascist regime with Trump as “Fuhrer.”
However, because there is no “justice” system in America,
because members of law enforcement and the legal profession refused to make Trump
accountable for his many crimes, and because of a corrupt and fascist-leaning
SCOTUS, the United States of America, as I will remember it, will soon cease to
exist.
Don’t forget my other “what ifs.”
What if FDR had lived until the end of WWII? Would he have
used nuclear weapons to hurry the end of this horrific military conflict?
What if the Supreme Court had not illegally interfered in
the 2000 election?
What if the leaders of our government had allowed voters to
know the truth about Vladimir Putin’s efforts to elect Trump in 2016?
What happened to the bullet after the alleged assassination attempt
on Donald Trump in Pennsylvania in 2024.
And what if the voting machines in all seven swing states in
2024 had been examined for their accuracy and the possibility that they had
been hacked?
We’ll never know, and we will all suffer from lies of omission
and the failure of our government and law enforcement to “do the right thing.”
