One Wish, Before I Die

Beginning in June of 2015, not a single day has passed without the name “Trump” appearing in every legitimate and illegitimate news service, or his old, ugly face appearing somewhere on television and the internet. He and I are the same age, and I have a reason to outlive the old bastard. I want to live long enough to read the news and not see the name ‘Trump’ or his picture anywhere.

I truly don’t understand. There is no legitimate reason for the least intelligent, and least accomplished old man in the world to be covered constantly by the media. He cannot put two sentences together. He slurs and rambles. Not once in his pitiful and far-too-long life has he spoken the truth or offered one idea which would be beneficial for the American people and the world.

Trump is the source and the example of why America’s people have become ignorant sheep marching to the slaughterhouse.

A few, recent lies and irrational thoughts from your illegitimate president. I begin with something which is non-existent: his domestic policy.

"I think if this country gets any kinder or gentler, it's literally going to cease to exist."

On his fallacious immigration/ethnic cleansing policy.

"We're rounding 'em up in a very humane way, in a very nice way. And they're going to be happy because they want to be legalized. And, by the way, I know it doesn't sound nice. But not everything is nice."

His only effort to control our southern border.

"I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words."

When asked about his position guaranteeing a woman’s right to decide the fate of her own mental and physical health.

“The answer is there has to be some form of punishment.”

“For the woman?”

“Yeah, there has to be some form.”

On the right of same-sex marriage. I couldn’t make any sense of this one.

"It's like in golf... A lot of people - I don't want this to sound trivial - but a lot of people are switching to these really long putters, very unattractive... it's weird. You see these great players with these really long putters, because they can't sink three-footers anymore. And, I hate it. I am a traditionalist. I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist."

This one, about race, is so ridiculous no sane man would have told such a lie with a straight face. Trump is a self-confirmed Nazi.

"I have a great relationship with African Americans, as you possibly have heard. I just have great respect for them. And they like me. I like them."

Ignoring science and offering a facetious opinion about climate change.

"The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive."

Trump lied, claiming that “Make America Great Again” was his idea. In fact, Ronald Reagan used it frequently during his 1980 campaign.

"The line of 'Make America great again,' the phrase, that was mine, I came up with it about a year ago, and I kept using it, and everybody's using it, they are all loving it. I don't know, I guess I should copyright it, maybe I have copyrighted it."

And another display of sexism: his complete lack of respect for all womankind.

"If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?"

Every word coming from Trump’s piehole is a lie, and proves that he never attended his classes at Wharton.
