“America” and “Freedom” are Synonyms, but not in Trump’s Country
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Trump’s personal beliefs: white
supremacy, fascism, the repeal of the First, Fourth, Fifth, and 14th
Amendments, and rule by the super-rich.
What he does not believe: freedom
and justice for all, due process, tradition, history, the rule of law, complete
equality for all, diversity, inclusion, free thought, doing the right thing,
and the New Testament of the Bible.
Trump’s fascist administration,
whose only “gods” are power and great wealth, consistently brag about ‘protecting
religious freedom.’
Their actions prove that this only
applies to Christian extremism, and their support for the Old Testament: a collection of fairy tales and
fables . They reject your right to practice the Religion of Islam, Judaism, Buddhism,
or any other faith not controlled by priests, ministers, pastors, and most
significantly Evangelical leaders.
Their leader, Dictator Donny Trump,
has never been a “Christian.” During the 2016 campaign season, he offered the
press the name of a church he claimed to be his place of worship. However, the
pastor of that particular church told the press that Trump has never once crossed
its threshold.
Just another lie from a man who has
never once told the truth about anything.
Think about this one fact: Trump
does not believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ as told in the New Testament.
A few examples.
"Do not judge, or you too will
be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with
the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
"Do to others as you would have them do
to you" (Matthew 7:12, Luke 6:31
“Love your enemies: Love those who
hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who abuse you.” (Luke
6:27-31). (Trump prefers taking revenge on his adversaries.)
“Be humble and forgiving: Be kind,
compassionate, and forgiving toward others, just as God has forgiven you.”
(Ephesians 4:32).
“Avoid hypocrisy: Before you judge
others, deal with your own faults first.” (Matthew 7:3-5).
“Look out for the interests of
others: Do not focus only on your own interests, but look to the interests of
others as well.” (Philippians 2:4).
Do you think Trump believes in “Christianity,”
a faith founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ? Trump is the “Antichrist.”
