CBS Parent Company Abandons Its Legacy and Merges with Fox

Growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s, our family watched television. Not having money for anything other than necessities, this was our only form of entertainment. I remain addicted today.

On Monday through Friday, we watched the evening news. It was only one-half hour, and hosted by the great Walter Cronkite: “The most trusted man in America.”

This is why it saddens me to tell you that CBS has become part of the “Magaverse.”

JUST ANOTHER RIGHT-WING PROPAGANDA MACHINE

First, CBS’ parent company, Paramount, owned by Trump’s oligarchs, ended Stephen Colbert’s late-night contract. Although his show was rated #1, he told the truth about Trump and his oligarchs, and that was a mortal sin.

More recently, they hired a Trump sycophant, Bari Weiss, as their editor-in-chief of its news division. She revealed her plans for the future of CBS News immediately.

Ms. Weiss cancelled stories on “60 Minutes” which were offensive to her Fuhrer. When Trump agreed to an interview on the once respected and informative broadcast, it was so heavily edited, it was more of a Fox fake interview than legitimate news.

IF YOU ENJOY BEING LIED TO, WATCH BROADCAST TELEVISION NEWS

I have not watched a single evening news broadcast since November 9, 2016, and now I have one more reason.

In our past, my wife and I watched CBS This Morning faithfully, and recorded 60 Minutes every Sunday. However, CBS has become nothing more than another right-wing propaganda machine and a waste of time unless you are a member of Trump’s ignorant cult.

PROJECT 25 DEMANDS CONTROL OF ALL SOURCES OF INFORMATION

Trump is the true source and architect of the right-wing’s fascist manifesto, Project 2025. Like Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” it rambles on for 922 pages, Hitler’s varies between 700 and 1000.

Trump revealed its entire content during his hate rallies and on social media beginning in June of 2015. Members of his Nazi Party simply put them on paper.

One example of beliefs shared by the fascist in 1930’s Germany and America Nazi leader in 2026 includes: “tell a lie often enough, and uninformed citizens will eventually accept it as the truth.” Since 2015, lies offered from Trump, and recorded on the internet, number over 100,000.

CBS has become a member of the “Magaverse.” However, all mainstream media news agencies fail to offer the American people the full truth about anything in Trump’s world. You will never hear or see the words “fascist,” “traitor,” “dictator,” or “Fuhrer” on CBS, NBC, or ABC. Trump would have a “hissy fit.”
