Trump is a Very Old Man Who Made a Choice to Reject Maturity
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Like your illegitimate president, I will be 80 years old
this year if I live for another six months. Unlike Trump, I have grown. I learned
from both my accomplishments and my mistakes. I recognized how the little
changes in my life made a big difference and why I am the man I am today. My
life has been filled with good times and bad. I did my best, but that was not
always good enough. I never gave up, and as I enter the last chapter of my life
on earth, I am satisfied that I did the best I could. I learned that no one is
perfect.
Trump and I may be the same age, chronologically, but he and
I are extremely different, and only one of us has accomplished anything of
value in his life.
Trump clearly made a choice in his early teens that he would
pursue a life of pleasure, rejecting a path which might have accomplished
something of importance; something of value. Simply put, he refused to reach
maturity. This is sad because he was born into extreme white privilege, and
could have become a respectable and successful human being.
One fact confirms my claim: his constant need to seek
revenge on anyone who disagrees with his moronic and fascist policies.
The sad truth is that he is a miserable man. His life means
nothing, and is void of any level of success. I would pity him if he cared
about anyone other than himself. Instead, I only wish him the worst as he
deserves.
In 2026, he continues to devolve. Trump has added first
degree murder to his list of crimes.
If you continue to choose ignorance over reality, and
support Trump, your life must be even more pitiful than his. You made a
horrible choice, and in the end, you will suffer pain equal to those of us who
faced reality.
