“I Love Spending Other People’s Money”
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
In 2015, as Trump held one of his first hate rallies, he
told his cult, “I love war, even the nuclear kind.” He also told the truth for
one of his very few times in his then 69 years: “I love spending other people’s
money.”
He’s doing a damn good job of wasting your tax dollars in
2026.
TRUMP CLEARLY FAILED EVERY ECONOMICS CLASS HE FAILED TO
ATTEND
It was our third President, Thomas Jefferson who said: “Never
spend your money before you have it.”
In 2025, America’s income was about 5.23 trillion dollars.
The national debt rose to $38 trillion. Trump’s War is costing taxpayers more
than one billion dollars each day, and there is no money in the national
treasury to cover that huge waste of taxpayer contributions. Do you think the
super-rich, who benefit financially from wars, should pay their fair share?
Trump is demanding Congress approve a 2027 budget of more
than 1.5 trillion dollars. None of it will go to the American people, A huge
part of that unfathomable amount will go to the Pentagon, allowing Trump to
continue his war on Iran and others yet to come.
TRUMP IS WASTING MORE THAN 12 MILLION DOLLARS OF YOUR MONEY
EACH MONTH TO PARTY LIKE A BILLIONAIRE
Trump averages three trips each month to the Lago, where he
does nothing other than party with his oligarchs. During his first illegitimate
term, each trip cost taxpayers about $3 million. With the cost of Air Force One
increasing from $200,000 per hour in 2017 to $270,000 in 2026, mostly based on
the cost of jet fuel, each excursion to the Lago for personal pleasure costs
about $4 million. Each month, Trump wastes about $12 million of your money,
which include his many trips to his personal golf resorts.
Rump profits from his own wasteful spending. A large contingent
of Secret Service and other members of his administration travel with him.
Taxpayer money is used to house and feed these individuals. That money ends up
in Trump’s personal bank account.
ONE-HALF OF ALL AMERICANS ARE STRUGGLING TO MAINTAIN A
DECENT QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THEIR FAMILIES
One-half of our nation’s 340 million people struggle in the
low income and poverty brackets of our society. Greedflation and rising costs
on every consumer product and service continue to make life more difficult for
most of our nation’s people. Not for your illegitimate president. He profits
from his foolish tariffs.
Trump has never accepted the fact that our presidents are
nothing more than public servants. Trump believes that we exist to serve him.
Trump will become an octogenarian on June 14th.
He will be the most expensive old man in the world’s history, and he sure as
hell is not worth one penny of it.
