How Much Money Are You Paying for Trump’s Wasteful Spending?
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
The numbers I am going to give you may sound ludicrous and unbelievable.
However, I want you to understand that they come from the GAO and other federal
accounting offices.
You may think that when I talk about “taxpayer money,” I am
referring to income tax. This is far from the truth. We all pay federal taxes
on gasoline, tobacco, alcohol, and airline tickets. These are known as excise
taxes. Trump is using your money for his personal benefit while destroying our
nation’s floundering economy.
3 BILLION DOLLARS EVERY DAY
The national debt has been rising steadily under Trump’s
failed fiscal policy. It was about 36 trillion dollars in January of 2025, and
is now nearing 39 trillion. It is also interesting that over that same period
of time, the number of oligarchs in America has risen from 902 to 989.
I ask: has your income increased dramatically over that
time? Accounting for Greedflation and the effects of Trump’s tariffs, my Social
Security checks have been reduced.
THINK CAREFULLY AND HONESTLY ABOUT THIS STORY
Can any country forced to pay 90 billion dollars each month,
and $1,000.000,080,000.00 each year ever eliminate 39 trillion dollars? That
outrageous number continues to grow.
It is fair that Trump’s personal spending, which exceeds all
other modern presidents combined, exceeds 10 million dollars each month. The
majority of his rape of the national treasury involves trips to his golf
resorts and to the Lago. To give you an idea of how his “excursions” can be so
costly you must know that operating Air Force One requires the use of $270,000
taxpayer dollars per hour. Another military aircraft transports the presidential
limousine and vehicles used by the Secret Service.
America cannot afford Trump.
