Is it TACO Saturday? For Trump It Is
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
Is it just me, or did Trump actually say, time and time again,
“Iran cannot have nuclear weapons?”
I don’t watch television “news” broadcasts. I refuse to be
lied to. However, I do read. Trump appeared on Sean Hannity’s right-wing
propaganda broadcast Thursday, and once again proved that the term “TACO”
definitely applies to the orange buffoon. Trump talks all the time, but his
words are always filled with lies and baseless allegations. Read the exchange
between Trump and one of Fox’ paid liars.
Hannity asked Trump about the 970 pounds of enriched uranium
possessed by Iran, which is necessary to make nuclear weapons.
[Trump first said that if the U.S. tried to seize the
stockpile, it would take “a week and a half” to extract using a ground
operation. That is likely an underestimate; nuclear experts say such an
operation would take weeks, and that’s assuming it goes smoothly.]
But what Trump said next was a surprise.
“I don’t think it’s necessary [to get the uranium], except
from a public relations standpoint,” the president said. “I think it’s
important for the fake news that we get it.”
He added, “I’m the one that said we’re going to get it, and
we’re going to get it. We have our eye on it.”
More gibberish and double talk from a man obviously
afflicted with dementia.
“TRUMP ALWAYS CHICKENS OUT” IS ACCURATE AND REVEALS ONE MAN’S
LACK OF PRINCIPLES AND MORALS
Like Trump, I graduated from high school in 1964. In July of
that year, I turned 18 and was required to register for the draft. The war in
Vietnam was beginning to grow.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my life. My family
was poor. My brother and I were raised by a single mother. I did not have the
money to attend a college or university, although my grades were very good. I
came to a decision during that summer, and enlisted in the United States Air
Force on September 11th. The recruiter I talked to promised that I would receive
an education applicable to various forms of employment in the private sector when
I completed my four years in service.
TACO Trump went a different way. His father paid a doctor
residing in one of his New York apartments to create documents claiming that
his son had “bone spurs” on his feet and should receive a deferment from the
draft. This was the first recorded act of cowardice from your illegitimate
president. Think about it: today’s Commander-in-Chief is a draft dodger. Only
in America.
Without possessing character, personal integrity, or
self-esteem, Trump has refused to ‘do the right thing’ for nearly 80 years. His
only goal has been personal pleasure and gratification. Trump is not only the
least qualified president in history, he is mentally and emotionally unfit for
any public office.
TRUMP HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING OR WHAT HE WILL DO NEXT
Trump’s basic intelligence has always been average or lower.
However, as he approaches his 80th birthday on June 14, his actions
and words reveal a man whose mental abilities are in rapid decline. He seldom
speaks clearly, often rambling and changing subjects. His unilateral decision
to wage war against Iran, without a plan, or a strategy for its end, proves
that he makes poor and dangerous decisions consistently. Trump is totally unfit
to remain the President of the United States.
If the Grand Old Party existed today, Trump would be removed
from the White House with the use of the 25th Amendment.
Unfortunately, the “Party of Lincoln” is nothing but a memory.
