On His Trip to China, Trump Took Some of “His People” With Him

In my nearly 80 years, I have learned that many of the sayings I heard from my grandparents, older relatives, and other individuals who were older than me are founded in fact, based on nothing more complicated than human nature.

One of these is, “you can be judged by the friends and associates you choose.”

As a man who had too many “careers” in his life, all involving working with the public, I have had many casual relationships. I referred to all of these people as “friends.” They were, to an extent. However, those I considered “true friends” cared about me as much as I cared about them. That number is small, as it should be.

Donald Trump has never had a true friend. He uses those he calls “friends” for personal advantage, and they use him to achieve their ambitions and increase their outrageous wealth.

When he planned his trip to China, he invited a few of his oligarchs, his son, Eric, the worst Secretary of Defense in history, Pete Hegseth, and one disgraced filmmaker, Brett Ratner to accompany him.

WHY BRETT RATNER?

You’re probably asking, “why would Trump invite Ratner to a summit between two superpowers?” I doubt that Trump knows why. They have one thing in common: both men have been accused by multiple women of sexual assault.

Ratner was banned from Hollywood in 2017 when Warner Bros. fired him. What possible reason is there for including another blight on our nation’s people on such an important trip? It appears that Trump is not taking his position seriously. He is enjoying a life of luxury and privilege, while completely ignoring the needs of our nation’s 340 million people.

We just have to accept the truth. Trump’s closest friends are and were, Jeffrey Epstein, Kim Jong-un, Vladimir Putin, Steve Bannon, and Mohammad bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

Epstein was a convicted pedophile who was Trump’s closest “friend” for about 15 years. Birds of a feather.

Kim Jong-un is a cruel dictator who had members of his own family murdered, continues to imprison entire families for no reason, enjoys a luxurious lifestyle, why his people are starving, and continues to threaten a nuclear strike on America.

Vladimir Putin is a ruthless dictator who has his political opponents murdered. He has been America’s greatest enemy for the last five decades. His choice to invade Ukraine may be the greatest war crime in world history.

His association with Steve Bannon was inspired by billionaire Robert Mercer. Now deceased, Mercer funded Trump’s 2016 campaign during its last three months. Bannon became his campaign manager. When Trump became your illegitimate president, Bannon became his closest adviser: the devil sitting on his left shoulder, encouraging your unfit president to take actions which can only be described as fascist.

Like Putin and his oligarchs, Mohammad bin Salman and his family bailed out Trump’s Manhattan business ventures when they were headed for bankruptcy. Like other dictators, bin Salman is known to have his adversaries murdered.

This is the traitor you chose to lead our nation on November 5, 2024? Huge mistake.
