Trump Was Emphatic About the Fact that He Doesn’t Care About You, Why Should You Care About Him?
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
The entire job of a president is to serve and care for the
needs, wishes, and safety of his/her people. Donald Trump is not an American
president by any stretch of the imagination. Over his nearly 80 pitiful years,
his only concern has been himself. This malignant narcissist takes pleasure in
the pain of others. That’s the one thing he is good at.
LOOKING AT HIS MANY CRIMES, TWO STAND ABOVE ALL THE OTHERS
When Trump committed treason on January 6, 2021, my wife and
I were two of the few who actually experienced the darkest day in American
history.
When Trump unilaterally decided to wage a war on the
sovereign nation of Iran on February 28, 2026, he not only violated the
Constitution, he committed a war crime. A part of this story includes the pain
he inflicted on the American people. Not only has his illegal and immoral war
cost taxpayers at least one billion dollars each day, the cost of essentials,
including gasoline, continue to reach prices no one has experienced previously in
our nation’s 250-year history.
A REAL PRESIDENT WOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT HIS/HER PEOPLE
I experienced 14 presidents in my lifetime. All of them
would admit that the pain their citizens are experiencing was of great concern.
They would have had a plan to reverse the problem asap. Not Donald Trump.
[Speaking on the White House South Lawn before departing for
a diplomatic trip to China, Trump was asked to what extent “Americans’
financial situations” were motivating him to make a deal with Iran.
[“Not even a little bit,” Trump replied. “The only thing
that matters when I’m talking about Iran — they can’t have a nuclear weapon. I
don’t think about Americans’ financial situation. I don’t think about anybody.
I think about one thing — we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. That’s
all.”]
I HATE THE FACT THAT EVERYONE I KNOW IS MORE INTELLIGENT
THAN THEIR ILLEGITIMATE PRESIDENT
It appears to me, and most other Americans, that Trump woke
up on February 28 and thought: “I’m not golfing today, what can I do to
entertain myself and distract the fact that Jeffrey and I shared everything for
15 years? I know: I’ll order my idiotic generals to attack Iran.”
What is happening today, May 23, 2026, is obvious. The
Pentagon is losing another war: its fifth since WWII.
Trump has never learned from history that a war in the Middle
East is unwinnable. Buildings might be destroyed and innocent people murdered,
but the people will never surrender to outside forces. Trump is a godless
heathen and fails to understand the importance of religion to true believers.
It is hard to believe that after Russia’s huge defeat in
Afghanistan between 1979 and 1989, waging war in the Middle East is futile.
Just look at Bush’s two failures in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Thousands of lives were lost and trillions of dollars wasted and not a single
positive result was achieved.
TRUMP LISTENS TO NO ONE
It’s clear that Trump has no interest in serving all 340
million Americans. Although his approval ratings are at an all-time low, and
continuing to move in the wrong direction, he simply doesn’t care. He has become
a dictator and not a very intelligent tyrant.
“Recent polling indicates that 60% of Americans oppose the
current U.S.-Israeli conflict in Iran, with only about 30% supporting it.
Furthermore, when specific escalations are considered, 74% of voters oppose
deploying U.S. ground troops to the region and 62% oppose a U.S. ground
invasion.”
History proves that no one “wins” a war. Although the United
States was forced into WWII, more than 400,000 Americans lost their lives. The
two nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to abruptly end the war in the
South Pacific took the lives of about 250,000 innocent men, women, and
children. Every nation involved sacrificed the lives of their finest young men
and women in numbers which are unimaginable. The economic cost of the war cannot
be accurately estimated.
One fact must never be forgotten: During the 2024 campaign,
Trump promised the American people that, “there would be no more wars on
foreign soil when he became president.” And yet, here we are in the third week
of May and no end is in sight.
Sadly, that was just another lie from the mouth of your
illegitimate president.
