With the Rising Number of Billionaires, America Began its Demise
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
“Profit Before People.” These three words became the
American motto in 1981. Ronald Reagan was the first fake Republican president.
His fiscal policy, “trickle-down economics,” was a gift to our nation’s
wealthiest citizens. His lie was a promise that if America’s largest
corporations were more profitable, they would reinvest in our country’s future,
and provide “good-paying jobs” for every man and woman in America.
What really happened is common knowledge. America’s billionaires
used the money they received from huge tax breaks and purchased another mansion
in a foreign nation, more outrageously expensive cars, or additional cases of
their favorite French wine. Some simply added funds to their offshore bank
accounts. Reagan’s three Republican successors used the same failed fiscal
policy.
WHERE IS AMERICA TODAY?
America’s economic system of “capitalism” was unfair to the working
class for generations. Today, capitalism has been replaced by a
plutocracy/oligarchy: rule by the super-rich. This situation is advanced
capitalism and much worse for our nation’s people.
Under Trump’s corrupt, fascist administration, the number of
America’s billionaires has grown from 902 to 989.
Fact: an oligarchy cannot remain in power in a free society.
This is why 989 men and women donated heavily to elect Trump in both 2016 and
2024. They needed a fascist dictator, a Fuhrer, to be in control if they were
to remain America’s ruling party in the 21st century.
Trump’s political party cannot claim the title of “Republican”
in 2026. They must be honest and accept the name “American Fascist Party,” or
even more accurately, the “American Nazi Party.”
They have adopted a platform known as “Project 2025.” It is an irrefutable fact that this 922-page
document is a fascist manifesto. in 2024, they surrendered their claim to the
titles of “The Grand Old Party,” and “The Party of Lincoln.”
JOE BIDEN SAID IT BEST IN 2020.
“We are in a fight to retain our democracy.” Joe Biden made
this statement in 2020 and it is even more factual today.
