Another Failure for the Man Holding the Record for the Most Failures in a Single Lifetime

A celebration devoted to the signing of the Declaration of
Independence, will also be remembered for a fire on the Brooklyn Bridge, a
debacle in San Francisco, cancelled parades, the longest and most boring
fireworks display in history, and a mass shooting on Coney Island.
BEGINNING AT THE TOP
What should have been a promise to renew the intent of the
Declaration of Independence became another politically motivated Trump hate
rally and turned a celebration into a memoriam for what America once strived to
become.
A few words to remind all Americans why we celebrate the 4th
of July.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are
created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable
rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
This one sentence was a summation of the core values the New
Nation would stand upon.
I can understand why Trump failed to refer to the document
which informed King George III that America would no longer be part of the
British Empire. He has never believed that “all men are created equal.”
EFFORTS WHICH FAILED, AND A PREVENTABLE TRAGEDY
Like most patriots, I celebrated what my beloved country was
BT, Before Trump.
As you would expect, there were massive celebrations planned
across our nation. Tall ships sailed down the Hudson River in remembrance of
how the first immigrants came to America before and after 1776.
Weather concerns delayed the Macy’s fireworks display until
9 pm. After the show, a fire broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge.
In San Francisco, summer fog and traffic jams marred the
celebration.
Trump promised an historic fireworks display on the Mall.
However, it was so long that many in attendance became bored.
While Americans partied on Coney Island, a lone gunman
opened fire on the crowd. Four adults and four children were wounded. A
21-year-old woman remains in critical condition.
A fact revealing that there have been a larger number of
mass shootings than days on the calendar since 2017 continues. In 2025, 408
mass shootings were recorded across America. This fact is easily preventable
and unacceptable. It is not safe to leave our homes.
HOW BLUE STATES CELEBRATED
Although Trump’s “Great American State Fair” was a total
bust, many other celebrations paid tribute to the meaning of this date.
[Elsewhere, fireworks are scheduled to be set off Saturday
over Navy Pier in Chicago and against the skyline of New York City. New York
hosted a ball drop at midnight to usher in the holiday with the same fanfare as
New Year’s Eve and saw tall ships parade pass the Statue of Liberty in a call
back to the fanfare around America’s 200th anniversary in 1976. Bristol, Rhode
Island, describes itself as home of the nation’s oldest Independence Day
celebrations dating to 1785. In Los Angeles, Queen Latifah will host a concert
featuring performances by The Smashing Pumpkins and Chris Stapleton. Chaka Khan
is billed as a special guest.]
AFTER 11 YEARS OF “TRUMPISM,” AND HIS FASCIST EFFORTS TO
DESTROY THE DREAM, I AM SURPRISED THAT THE USA SURVIVED
My efforts to learn the truth about America and what happens
behind closed doors on Capitol Hill confirm my allegation that our country’s
federal government is the most corrupt on the planet. Nothing we see or hear
from our elected and appointed leaders in the executive, legislative, and
judicial branches can be believed or trusted.
The system of government created by our Founding Fathers included
a demand that our federal government would represent the needs and wishes of
all citizens. This is not what is happening today.
All three branches rule over us and ignore our needs and
demands. Long before Trump, in 1981, the demise of a “democratic republic”
began to appear.
Think about this fact: in recent primaries, candidates who
support Bernie Sanders’ beliefs in “Democratic Socialism” have been victorious.
The American people survived the evils of capitalism, and
our current dictatorial leadership known as a plutocracy/oligarchy for more
than 100 years. It is an irrefutable fact that 989 oligarchs/billionaires
control everything which happens in Washington today. Donald Trump is their
tool.
