Everything is For and About the Orange Buffoon
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
A bribe from Qatar in the form of a new and more expensive
to operate Air Force One. An unnecessary ballroom, no one wanted but Trump. A planned
arch to honor the “greatest president of all time:” according to Dementia
Donny. A costly and tacky birthday party pitting street fighters against each
other. A huge failure labeled as the “Great American State Fair,” intended to
celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday. Now his latest vanity
project, an unnecessary helipad on the White House grounds.
SHITTING ON ANOTHER REVERED TRADITION
The first presidential helicopter landed on the White House
lawn on July 12, 1957. President Eisenhower, a real Republican President, used
it to travel from Air Force One after landing at Joint Base Andrews in Camp
Springs, Maryland. Using the helicopter saved two hours wasted in traffic.
The aircraft was shared by the Army and the Marine Corp until
1976, when it officially became "Marine One." It has been the
president’s personal “cab” since, always landing on the south lawn. It has been
filmed dozens of times, and occasionally its image was used in film.
Trump does not need a helipad.
ANOTHER ‘NO BID’ AND COSTLY PROJECT: CAN YOU SAY “GRAFT,” OR
“CORRUPTION?”
The Washington Post learned that the wasteful and unnecessary
and secretive project began more than one week ago. Another costly project
unilaterally created by America’s biggest criminal, Donald John Trump.
Workers are laterally “working around the clock” in a hasty
and wasteful effort to complete the project. This is adding more than $875,000
to the undisclosed cost of another Trump fiasco.
Remember, Trump often tells his cult that, “I love spending
other people’s money.” This is your money, and Trump is spending it to please
himself.
