R.I.P. U.S.A., 1776-2024

I had hope: that was the past. Since I began my growing interest in government and the ugly world of politics in 1962, as a junior in high school, at the age of 16, I have watched America abandon its integrity, its morals, its principles, and most significantly its belief in “liberty and justice for all.” With great sadness, I am obligated to tell you that my America is deceased.

It happened in 2024, and only a few of us was aware of America’s demise. It happened when your illegitimate president was granted absolute immunity in all situations, public and private. However, the actions of six biased and corrupt Supreme Court Justices created a condition with far reaching ramifications, including the end of the dream of our founding fathers.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN GREAT POWER IS GIVEN TO A MADMAN WHOSE GOALS INCLUDE ABSOLUTE POWER, OUTRAGEOUS WEALTH, ALL FUELED BY ANGER, HATRED, AND VIOLENCE

Trump violates the Constitution with every breath he takes. His violations of the First, Fourth, Fifth, Tenth, and Fourteenth Amendments are too numerous to name in this short article. He is, without question, a fascist dictator, whose personal ambitions are the only issue of importance to the orange buffoon.

With absolute immunity comes absolute power. His 989 oligarchs are able to do anything they choose without concerns about punishment. Trump has and will pardon criminals at will, and the once respected media will judge his actions as acceptable, and normal. He began his second term by pardoning the more than 1,600 men and women who committed treason on January 6, 2021.

Fact: without a fair and impartial justice system, no country can exist. This is Trump’s America. The Attorney General and Department of Justice are intended to be neutral and impartial. However, in 2026, they work for Trump. Our military leaders in the Pentagon obey their Fascist-in-Chief, knowing that he hates America. All law enforcement agencies share Trump’s devotion to racism and bigotry.

FOR THE LAST 64 YEARS I HAVE WATCHED AS POLITICIANS BEGAN TO DESTROY EVERYTHING WHICH MADE AMERICA THE MOST RESPECTED NATION IN THE WORLD, PIECE BY PIECE

Governments are synonymous with corruption. Money is the root of all evil, and power corrupts absolutely. Without term limits, the legislative branch of our government has become a “good old boy’s club.” They protect each other’s crimes and failures with the use of, “that information is not available due to concerns related to national security.” They forgot that this country is ours, not theirs.

Over the last 11 years, the men and women who call themselves “Republicans” spend most of their time protecting their Fuhrer from the truth.

The Supreme Court has become nothing more than a bad joke. Its only purpose was to ensure that all laws, rules, and regulations do not violate the Constitution. Over the last four years, with right-wing justices holding a super majority at 6-3, these five men and one woman are repealing laws and making their own. They are grabbing power not given to them by our Founding Fathers. With lifetime appointments, they have no fear of punishment for their crimes. Only impeachment can remove them from office, and that has never happened in our nation’s 250-year history.

THIS FORMER PATRIOT NO LONGER LOVES TRUMP’S DISUNITED STATES OF AMERICA

No one has loved their country more than me. However, when the illegal and immoral war in South Vietnam began to escalate in the mid 1960’s, I became a critic of my government. To this day, I have never read an explanation which justified fighting a war halfway around the world. We were never attacked by the North Vietnamese.

I began to understand the satire of Mark Twain: "Loyalty to the country always. Loyalty to the government, when it deserves it."

Our current government, all three branches, should be removed from their lives of luxury and privilege and exiled to any nation which would have them, but not this one.

Why is Trump determined to crush any efforts to implement a policy of DEI in American business? Simple. He is a Nazi and the leader of the white supremacist movement in America. For three hours I remained horrified as a group of thugs and villains obeyed the orders of their demagogue and violently attempted to destroy a democratic process which would become the end of America.
