Trump and his Republicans in Name Only, are Shredding the First Amendment, and Threatening the Very Future of America

Our Founding Fathers considered the First Amendment their “masterpiece.”
In one paragraph are guarantees related to the basic freedoms and rights of all
mankind. It is the very core, the reason, why thy created the United States of
America. Without it, there would be no America, no dream come true. Everything
from free thought to your right to vote is promised in the only Amendment in
the Bill of Rights agreed upon unanimously, by the men who participated in the
first Constitutional Convention, 1787-1789.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and
to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
TRUMP’S PLAN TO DESTROY MY AMERICA
The mainstream media, owned by Trump’s 989
billionaires/oligarchs, refuses to use the only word which accurately describes
your illegitimate president: Fascist.
Like all ruthless dictators, Trump is only interested in
personal gain. He is desperate to obtain relevance. The orange buffoon is afflicted
with a mental disease known as “malignant narcissism,” and has been for his
entire adult life.
A partial definition of malignant narcissism: “A malignant
narcissist is a person who combines extreme self-importance, a total lack of
empathy, and a dangerous pattern of cruel or sadistic behavior.”
Trump is possessed with an inflated ego. His primary goal is
a feeling of “importance,” and for him, this includes the accumulation of great
wealth and power. His enemies are the truth, facts, free thought, satire
focused on his appearance and actions, and what in reality are the smallest of
personal criticisms based on his own ignorant actions and words.
DESTRUCTION OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT IS NEARLY COMPLETE
It didn’t begin with Trump: he is using Evangelical
Christians to accomplish his ultimate goal: the end of the dream.
Reagan boldly announced his support of the Christian faith. He
is responsible for the creation of the Christian Religious Right. Today, on one
on the right side of the aisle votes for legislation without the approval of
Evangelical leaders.
The very first part of the First Amendment demands the separation
of Church and State. Washington,
Jefferson, Adams, and the rest, were aware of two facts: religions and
governments do not mix, and freedom from religion is equally important as the right
to practice any faith each individual might choose.
In 2026, all non-Christians are under attack by their own
government.
FREEDOM OF THOUGHT AND FREE SPEECH ARE MAJOR THREATS TO A
FASCIST REGIME
No greater example of how Trump and his Nazi army are destroying
free speech than his attacks on two talented and popular television
personalities: Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.
I am 80 years old, and for as long as I can remember, from
Steve Allen to Johnny Carson, and those entertainus us on television today,
late-night comics satirized our nation’s presidents and other members of our
government. All of them deserved these
verbal attacks, and were the reasons we laughed. Intelligent men and women
accept humor directed at them for what it is: free speech designed to entertain
an audience. This does not describe your mentally challenged president defiling
the White House today.
Constant humor aimed at the orange buffoon by Mr. Kimmel and
Mr. Colbert damaged Trump’s ego. He took action to silence them, ordering his oligarchs
to fire both comics.
Paramount, the parent company of CBS, did just that. In May,
Mr. Colbert’s show was cancelled, as protests grew around the country.
Disney Corp., owners of ABC, faced a greater challenge with
Mr. Kimmel. Cancellations to its streaming services, and boycotts of its theme
parks hit them where it hurt these greedy, super-rich Americans. After a short
suspension, he returned to “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
This was a major victory for the people and the First Amendment.
THE TRUTH IS TRUMP’S GREATEST FEAR
Trump began attacking American citizens exercising their
First Amendment Right, protesting his fascist policies. In another violation of
the Constitution, the worst and second illegitimate president in history used
United States military personnel to disperse innocent Americans as they challenged
the actions of a corrupt government.
But this was not the first time Trump took similar action.
On June 1, 2020, a crowd protested Trump’s fascist actions,
and his failure to lead our nation in the fight against Covid-19 in Lafayette Park,
just outside of the White House. Trump organized a group of uniformed military
men, members of his cabinet, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and
marched them through a crowd of Americans, exercising their First Amendment
right, for a photo op at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
As they forced their way through the crowd, canisters of
tear gas were exploded, and rubber bullets were fired at their fellow
Americans. Another addition to the egregious
actions of the worst man on the planet.
EFFORTS BY THE RIGHT TO SUPPRESS VOTING RIGHTS CONTINUE
Trump is desperate to retain control of the House and
Senate. His false claims about mail-in voting have become the focus of his fear.
In red states, major efforts to prevent a large turnout,
similar to 2020, the voting rights of hundreds of thousands of American
citizens continue.
And Trump’s Supreme Court continues to support him, although
they are violating the 10th Amendment with their actions.
How can America continue to exist if the branch of our
government designated to protect the Constitution is violating the Law of the
Land, and your illegitimate president continues to encourage actions based on
anger, hatred, and violence to maintain power?
