Paramount Gets What it Deserves

Once upon a time, there was a great television network. In
the 1960’s, Walter Cronkite made it the most respected news network in America.
It was the network where we watched I Love Lucy, Mash, All
in the Family, The Twilight Zone, Gunsmoke, the Ed Sullivan Show, The Carol
Burnett Show, and many, many others.
On September 24, 1968, It launched a new news show, calling
it “60 Minutes.” In just a few years, it became known as the best, fact-based,
and “hard-hitting” news broadcast on television.
On October 6, 2025, the parent company of CBS, Paramount,
hired a Trump sycophant, Bari Weiss, as the network’s news director. One of Ms.
Weiss’ orders was to cancel the highly rated late night talk-show, “The Late
Show with Stephen Colbet. Trump cannot handle the truth.
I, and many others immediately cancelled our subscriptions
to the Paramount streaming service. Today, ratings for 60 Minutes and other
broadcasts are in steep decline. All of this happened because the billioaires
who are Paramount, support the worst president in history, Donald Trump.
IT BRINGS ME GREAT SADDNESS TO KNOW THAT ONE OLD, MENTALLY
CHALLENGED NAZI HAS CHANGED MY WORLD
No event in our nation’s history has caused such permanent
damage to our country than the illegitimate election of Donald Trump in 2016.
Over the last 10 years, our government, the mainstream
media, religious leaders, law enforcement ,and the military have allowed him
and his political party to destroy the opportunity of ever making America a
great country.
Once a ntion moving forward, in possession of compassion, understanding,
and acceptance, our nation is now moving backwards and has become a land
dominated by anger, hatred, and violence.
The word “United” has disappeared from our nation’s title,
and 340 million people are struggling to survive and make sense of these
changes.
I leave you with a single word: VOTE.
