America in the 21st Century: a Nation Built on Lies

The truth is a rare commodity in America today. If someone in power, most significantly a politician, is speaking, whatever they are saying is probably a lie. Over the last 40+ years our government has become highly secretive. They are hiding their own sins from the American people because the truth would result in the loss of elections. Corruption is standard operating procedure in our nation today. This situation was exacerbated during Trump’s illegitimate presidency as the fourth estate recorded between 50,000 and 75,000 lies told by your failed president between 2015 and 2021. Every member of his party followed his example for a single reason, to protect their fascist leader.

The worst of the worst is Representative Jim Jordan from Ohio. He screams and yells as he questions individuals with no intention of allowing them to give an honest and complete answer. This is a technique he learned from Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Tucker Carlson on Fox News. As a founder of the Freedom Caucus, he has adopted the far-right ideas of fascism.

Jordan himself is a criminal. When employed by Ohio State University, he purposely ignored cases of sexual assault committed against members of the wrestling team by the team’s doctor.

In another Republican waste of time and money, Jordan and his fellow fake legislators spent hours questioning Attorney General Merrick Garland related to charges against Trump and Hunter Biden.

Much of the focus was on the lawful search of Mar-a-Lago for classified documents Trump’s attorneys claimed were returned. They were not. Boxes were hidden all over Trump’s billionaire’s resort.

As Trump’s single term came closer to an end, his crimes became more egregious. On January 6, 2021, he planned, organized, and executed an attempted coup. The crime is called “treason.” As he was leaving the White House on January 21st, he stole multiple boxes of classified material and stashed them at his Palm Beach resort called Mar-a-Lago.

No one can offer a valid reason why he remains a free man.

Aileen Cannon: A Corrupt Judge Appointed by a Lifelong Criminal

She has been charged with one of the most important cases involving Trump’s life of crime; his theft of classified documents when he was evicted from the White House on January 20, 2021. It seems that the Senator from Arizona kept the little man from South Carolina in line, and influenced him to do the right thing most of the time.
