1930s Fascist Leaders Can be Found at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

Hitler was without a doubt a madman. He was obsessed with
power and control over the future. Today, he would be defined by psychiatrists
as both a paranoid schizophrenic, and a malignant narcissist. You might
remember a letter signed by 25 of our nation’s most respected mental health
authorities, offering their beliefs that Trump is afflicted with malignant
narcissism.
However, Adolf Hitler was an accomplished artist and a
brilliant man who chose tyranny over accomplishments which would benefit all
mankind.
His fascist playbook, Mein Kampf, details techniques designed
to control the masses. It begins with extreme nationalism, and continues with
many tactics guaranteed to eventually convince the weak-minded that everything
he said was an irrefutable fact.
First and foremost, a lie told often enough will eventually
be accepted as the truth. We witnessed the use of this method after the 2020
election.
Although Trump’s own “Election Czar” told the press that “the
2020 election was the safest and most secure in history,” Trump repeatedly told
his cult that he had won the election: that Joe Biden had won because of “massive
voter fraud.” It was of no concern to his supporters that at least 60 state
courts, and his own stacked Supreme Court, found nothing to indicate that the
election was fraudulent.
Believing Trump’s “big lie,” a mob composed of Neo-Nazis and
men and women who constantly supported Trump’s belief in white supremacy, obeyed
Trump’s command, and attempted to overthrow the democratic process of
certifying the Electoral College vote. I had the misfortune of watching all
three hours of the darkest day in American history, and have no doubt that
everyone involved committed treason.
Trump took great pleasure in knowing that he was able to
brainwash thousands of people who attended his hate rallies. Once again, he
followed Hitler’s fascist manifesto.
Once the people shared his views of extreme nationalism and
unwavering patriotism, Hitler created emotions of fear. Anyone who opposed his
views was the enemy. Fear gives birth to extreme anger, and when anger reaches
its pinnacle, hatred raises its ugly head.
During every revolting rally, Trump preached fear, anger,
and hatred, encouraging acts of violence in his name.
The most important technique of all involves the ‘information
highway.’
Beginning with the announcement of his intention to win the
Republican Party’s presidential nomination in June of 2015, he began calling
all legitimate news agencies, “fake news.” He praised the original fake news,
and right-wing propaganda machine, Fox News constantly, claiming it was the
only news agency telling the truth.
Trump 2.0 is defunding PBS, and NPR for one reason. These
are the last two American news outlets which offer information based on facts.
Trump, like Hitler, fears the truth more than anything else.
The growth of mostly fallacious social media networks is the
root cause for the demise of thousands of local newspapers across the nation. It
has become increasingly difficult to learn about the events happening in
smaller cities and towns in rural America. Their only sources are major, and
often politically biased major news sources.
Hitler knew that the ultimate way to control the masses was
to put an end to a free press, ensuring that all information came from him and
his loyal army. “He who controls the information highway, controls ‘free
thought.’”
Once again, Trump is following Hitler’s beliefs and those
contained in his own fascist manifesto: “Project 2025.”
One final thought. Trump’s polls among well-educated
Americans are extremely low. Since his illegitimate inauguration, he has been attacking
our finest colleges and universities. His single reason? Their support for a
truly American policy: DEI. “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.”
Trump and his fascist party are attempting to “Make America
White Again.” Their opposition to equal treatment under the law for all of
America’s people is not only guaranteed by the Constitution, but also one of
our nation’s core values.
