Another “What If,” and This One Involves Canada

The government of the United States is the most corrupt and incompetent in the world. The way things are today, America is not worth saving.

Another “What If,” and This One Involves Canada.

Early in his second illegitimate term, Trump talked a lot about ‘annexing Canada,’ and making it part of the United States. No one laughed harder than every Canadian citizen.

However, this made me think about an alternative to Trump’s sad and laughable idea.

Canada is not a nation constantly preparing for the next war. Canada’s citizens have universal healthcare for every man, woman, and child, without cost. They have a diverse society and is envied by nations around the world. There is little racism, and bigotry anywhere in their country, and when questioned are mostly pleased with their lives.

The people of Canada are known for their kindness and their lifestyle. Canada is rated fifth in quality of life, behind Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, and Denmark in the number one position.

So here’s what I suggest.

With no hope on the horizon to remove Trump and place America on the right track in the remainder of the 21st century, what if we vote in support of Canada annexing the United States?

I would be proud to be a Canadian citizen. I am not proud of being a citizen of Trump’s dark and dismal America.
