Television News Makes You Stupid: Social Media Makes You a Moron

Not knowing something does not make you stupid. No one knows everything, although Trump lies and tells you he does. Ignorance is not normal: it’s a choice. When information is available, but you choose to believe lies and half-truths, you choose to be ignorant. But the facts cannot be denied.

In America, watching television news is ignorant. The fourth estate ceased to exist once and for all on January 20, 2025. Half-truths are more dangerous than blatant lies. A story, which contains a small amount of truth, is easy for the uninformed to accept as fact.

Television news is a large factor in the dumbing down of America. Only one “information source” is worse: social media. If you spend any time on social media, you will soon become a moron. 99 percent of everything on Facebook, “X” and other fake news outlets is misleading and most often completely untrue.

Currently, one issue is revealing the low level of intelligence of most Americans in the 21st century.

This government shutdown was intentional. Trump and his fascist party planned for this destructive action for the last eight months. Democrats fought to prevent the shutdown and protect about 26 million Americans from losing their healthcare or experiencing huge rate increases.

Fake Republicans are telling the American people lies to make it appear that Democrats had a major role in the shutdown. Let’s be clear. Republicans are in complete control of all three branches of our government.

Contrary to the lies from Trump and his fascist party, Democrats do not want undocumented residents to be included in the Affordable Care Act.

So, why do millions of Americans blame Democrats for Trump’s success in shutting down our government? Because they choose to be brainwashed. They watch the original fake news, Fox, or others recently created to make Americans just plain stupid, like Newsmax.

Once again, listen to me: if you watch any television “news,” you know nothing about anything. Don’t choose to be an idiot like Trump and refuse to read. Facts do matter.

The truth is out there, but it’s getting harder and harder to find. Most of it comes from independent sources like yours truly, who do the research for others who don’t take the time to find the truth.

I leave you with one irrefutable fact. Your current illegitimate president has never told the truth once in his life. He is the worst thing to happen to our nation in its 249-year history.
