When you Surrender to a Schoolyard Bully, He Will Eventually Take Your Soul

Trump is THE Schoolyard Bully. He threatens anyone who doesn’t agree with him and then, in typical cowardly fashion,  instructs his minions to fight for him. Trump’s lackies include his Nazi Party, and six corrupt members of the Supreme Court.

Yesterday, the Senate met once again to find a way to end what should never have happened in the first place, the longest partial government shutdown in history. Until yesterday, Democrats refused to negotiate until millions of Americans would have their healthcare protected and not experience a huge increase.

However, yesterday, eight Democrats surrendered to the Nazis in Washington and ignored the needs and wishes of the American people.

I have not and never will be member of any political party. In general, politicians all too often ignore what is right and place future elections ahead of all 340 million people.

I am ashamed to say that two of the gang of eight are Senators from my state: Nevada. Catherine Cortez Masto, Dick Durbin, John Fetterman, Maggie Hassan, Angus King, Tim Kaine, Jackie Rosen, and Jeanne Shaheen capitulated to the Schoolyard Bully and his Washington Mafia, placing millions of Americans in a position to lose their healthcare. Cortez Masto and Rosen are from Nevada, and I will not forget their cowardly actions as they gave Trump everything he wanted. I will support any Democrat who challenges them for reelection.

First and foremost, healthcare is a right and cannot be treated like a privilege. The United States is the only developed nation in the world without free universal healthcare for all. But our politicians continue to claim that “America is the greatest country in the world.” What a joke. We are not even in the top 15.

The primary fault within the Democratic Party was defined by a legendary humorist and political satirist long ago. “I am not a member of any organized political party — I am a Democrat.” ― Will Rogers

The second problem with Democrats is clearly revealed by history.

The greatest President in American history was Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He was the only “People’s President” in America’s 249 years. His party followed his lead because he was a leader and was not defeated once until his death in 1945.

Today’s Democratic Party fails to have a leader. No man or woman has the courage to tell the absolute truth or the willingness to always do the right thing for all Americans, elections be damned.

One week ago, real Americans spoke loudly as the cast their votes for progressive candidates who believe that our nation is worth saving. Eight arrogant Democrats ignored their message, and will pay deeply for their failure to protect the people of their states.

He is not one of the billionaires on Trump’s cabinet, but he is worth 521 million dollars.
