An American President Leads his/her Country by Gaining Trust and Respect: A Dictator Rules by Creating Fear

Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart

Donald Trump never has been and never will be an American President. He is a fascist dictator. The truth is, he never wanted to have a ‘real job.’ He knows nothing about leadership or government, and has never shown any indication that he is willing to learn how to work, and never for the benefit of others.

However, after his rigged victory on November 8, 2016, he saw an opportunity to increase his personal wealth, and he did, by 3.7 billion dollars over four, long years. Vladimir Putin recognized the reality that he would have his greatest asset in a position of power. His lifelong dream of destroying America would be sitting behind the Resolute desk. In 2026, Trump is moving full speed ahead in his efforts to create chaos and end the dream of our Founding Fathers.

I will say it again: Trump remains an immature, spoiled child, who is and always was the schoolyard bully.

Unfortunately, Trump doesn’t read; or maybe he can’t. If he had read “Being a President for Dummies,” he might have learned that the President of the United States is a leader, not a dictator. His responsibility is to ensure that all of our nation’s people are safe and secure. Instead, he continues to rule over us with the use of fear tactics, and promises he never intended to keep. A real president seeks the trust and respect of his/her people. His/her goal is to lead by example and keep his/her oath of office.

When I was a young, patriotic American in the 1950’s and 1960’s, I learned to admire intelligence and wisdom. Like most young men my age, when John Fitzgerald Kennedy was running for the presidency, I listened to every word during his speeches and press conferences when they were on television. He was the perfect example of what a true leader should be.

When Barrack Obama declared his intent to win the 2008 election, I had similar feelings. His speeches were inspiring. He impressed me with not only his rhetoric, but also its content. Mr. Obama offered hope and inspired trust. After the election, he took actions immediately which would help our nation recover from the disastrous economic policies of his Republican predecessor, George W. Bush.

Over my nearly eight decades as an American citizen, I learned a great deal about the actions of human beings. Everyone responds differently when confronted with challenges and responsibility. And so it is with our nation’s leaders.

It is clear that leaders are born, not made, and this is the reason why most of our elected officials are complete failures. They are incapable of leading a nation of 340 million people. Without term limits for all three branches of government, most of the men and women on Capitol Hill prove that longevity in public office is a crime, not to be respected.

No one is a greater example of failed leadership than Trump. Your illegitimate president is an ‘opportunist.’ His life is filled with failure and a total lack of accomplishment without the assistance of others.

In 2026, he is mad with power. Trump has not addressed a single problem facing our nation in the 21st century. His plan to secure our borders includes kidnapping and torturing men, women, and children whose only crime was a desire to share the life he was born into. He unleashed a gang of Nazi criminals and thugs who enjoy harming others and creating an atmosphere of fear. ICE has become his personal Gestapo.

Over the last year, the world has become a more dangerous place. Anger and fear dominate the daily existence of most of our nation’s people, and those of our closest allies.

Nothing creates fear more than uncertainty and insecurity. No one knows what Trump will do next, including Trump. His lack of intelligence combined with a mental disorder known as malignant narcissism forced him to follow his darkest emotions and this procreated the destruction of democracy, and the attributes which made America the most respected nation in the world.

When Trump learned about the approach of a deadly virus at the end of 2019, he ignored the information offered in the President's Daily Brief. In January of 2020 he was questioned by the media about the coronavirus rapidly spreading across Asia and Europe. His moronic response? "It will just go away. America is better prepared.” He repeated his lie until March when Americans began to die from the Covid-19 coronavirus. When he was evicted from the White House in January of 2021, more than one-million Americans had lost their lives. Although the pharmaceutical companies had developed a vaccine, Trump failed to create a plan for its distribution. President Biden stepped in and saved thousands of lives.

Healthcare experts claim that if Trump had led our nation in an attempt to halt the spread of Covid-19, at least 100,000 lives would have been saved. He was undoubtedly a mass murderer.

Even his failed and vicious “immigration policy” is led with fear tactics and creating doubts about his ability and will to solve our most imminent threats to America: Greedflation, and domestic terrorism. The latter is understandable: he is the leader of domestic terrorism in America. Donny “the Failure” Trump will be remembered, but not for a single positive accomplishment.
