Lombardo is Lying Again

Joe Lombardo is the current Governor of Nevada. He is unfit for office and another Trump sycophant.

He is up for reelection in November and has been placing expensive and fallacious ads on television, paid for by Trump’s oligarchs.

He lied about his “accomplishments” in healthcare and reducing the cost of single family homes and apartment rentals. He is now doing the same about education in the Silver State.

NEVADA HAS SOME OF THE WORST SCHOOLS IN THE NATION

Fact: “Nevada ranks as the second least educated state in America.” Most jobs in Nevada are minimum wage or slightly higher, and those jobs do not require more than a high school diploma. Education has seldom been a priority for most of our state’s leaders.

It is no secret that Las Vegas is our most populated city. It is also no secret that the University of Nevada at Las Vegas is one of the most poorly rated institutions of higher learning in the nation.

The University of Nevada-Reno is a more respected institution, but it could be better.

LOMBARDO’S LIES ARE AN INSULT TO THE PEOPLE OF MY STATE

Lombardo claims that over the last four years he has greatly improved the quality of education in Nevada. Sadly, the opposite is true and based on facts, not fantasy.

My wife and I live in Northern Nevada. A few years ago, a Middle School was constructed on the BLM land just north of our home. It has bcome a disaster for our quiet neighborhood. The children have damaged property and often disrupt the lives of residents as they arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning and leave at 2:00 in the afternoon.

That’s right. They begin classes at 9:00 a.m. and leave at 2:00 p.m. That is just five hours each day, and within that time they have two 15 minute recesses and a half hour lunch. When do they have time to learn anything?

LOMBARDO WAS A HUGE MISTAKE

Although our previous Governor, Steve Sisolak, made decisions which resulted in minimal damage during Trump’s Covid-19 disaster, the many rednecks in our state who support the worst man in the world gave us the worst governor we have had since I moved here in 1986.

We are fighting an uphill battle. The wealthiest men and women in our state support Lombardo. He allows them to do whatever they please, not focused on the lives of our state’s people, but based on increasing their already outrageous wealth.

I offer you the truth. A vote for Lombardo is a vote for Trump and his anti-American agenda.
