No Foreign Country, No Action by Any Other Traitor Within our Government, Has Caused More Damage to Our Nation than Trump
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
The study of history is of far greater importance than any
other informative publication compiled by any individual or group in our
nation’s history. Ignoring the lessons learned from past events is extremely dangerous
and confirms a lack of intelligence and common sense. Mistakes from past
actions and events are the greatest lessons any individual or nation can examine
and analyze to avoid making the same mistakes in the future.
The damage inflicted upon our nation over the last 10+ years
by one man and his fascist political party is far greater than the events of
the Civil War, the cowardly attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, and the slaughter
of 2,977 innocent American citizens on September 11, 2001. The harm Trump has
done to our nation will require decades to undo, and some is irreparable.
The culprit is one old, obese, malignant narcissist in
collusion with one political party whose only goal is absolute power over a
nation of 340 million people.
STOP BELIEVING IN FAIRY TALES AND LOOK AT THE FACTS
The United States is the most diverse nation in the world. This
is our greatest asset and our greatest strength. America is composed of many races,
ethnicities, a huge variety of religious beliefs, and sexual orientations.
These are facts.
However, the untold story about America is founded on much
darker beliefs based upon sociology, baseless family “values,” and ignorance.
These traits are mostly inherited and are resistant to change. Prejudice in all
its forms: racism, bigotry, homophobia, misogyny, and a belief in religious
superiority are destructive components of our nation’s right to freedom of thought and speach. This
is the reason America will always be divided until emotions are abandoned and
intelligence, understanding, and acceptance replace ignorance.
AMERICA’S EVILS: RACISM, BIGOTRY, AND BASELESS PREJUDICE
PRODUCED BY IGNORANCE MUST END IF OUR NATION IS TO SURVIVE
Politicians use negative emotions to win elections. No one
has achieved more success with the use of emotional subterfuge than Donald
Trump. When he addresses his cult, which is always covered by the mainstream
media, he convinces his supporters to accept falsehoods which result in anger,
hatred, and often violent action.
Trump’s only talent is as a con man, a cult leader for the
uninformed. There is no basis in fact from anything emanating from his lips. He
will say or do anything to accomplish his personal ambitions. Facts from his
actions beginning in 1987 prove that his loyalty is not to the American people.
He is not, and never will be an American President.
I CEASED WATCHING TELEVISION NEWS 10 YEARS AGO
There is no doubt that the mainstream media was a factor in
Trump’s illegitimate victory in 2016. He was given five times more coverage
than all other candidates combined. When they did report a story about Hillary
Clinton it always contained a vacuous account of her use of a private e-mail
server and an underlying message that “she is unqualifed based on sex.”
On the morning of November 9, 2016, I promised myself that I
would never watch television news again. This is one promise I have kept. I
refuse to be lied to, and lies of omission are far more effective than a
blatant falsehood.
I DON’T “HATE,” BUT FOR DONALD TRUMP I WILL MAKE AN
EXCEPTION
Because he is
destroying the very fabric of my beloved country, he has earned my wrath.
Because he is intentionally harming good people who are true patriots, my blood
pressure is erratic. Because he has been allowed to lie, cheat, and violate the
Constitution by six corrupt members of the Supreme Court, I feel disgust and
rage. Because he has never been punished for his life of crime, I am appalled
and disappointed, knowing that there is no justice in America.
God bless America,
and Goddamn those who would tear it apart.
