How Trump Makes my Life More Difficult at 80

Donald Trump is a disaster for all 340 million Americans. If
you are supportive of his “America,” you are one of nation’s 22 million
millionaires or 989 billionaires. The rest of us live in his version of hell.
First of all, whoever created the term, “the golden years,”
was full of shit. You have to be mentally tough to survive beyond the age of 75.
Personally, the only part of “me” which has not begun to
rapidly deteriorate is my mind. I’m thankful for that. However, I can’t stand
or walk, my eyesight becomes worse every day, I have become clumsy, and all of
this combined is the reason I occasionally act like an angry, feeble old man.
This is America, and one issue above all makes life
extremely difficult for me and my incredible bride of 31 years: we are expected
to survive on a meager, fixed income. The value of all individuals in America
is judged by their income, the money they have in their bank accounts, and
nothing else. The national motto has become “profit before people.”
ONLY IN AMERICA
If I was living in Europe or parts of Asia, I would be an
important person. The people in these nations revere and care for their elderly.
The government of the United States only raises its middle finger, and waits
for me to die.
The situation is 100 times worse under the fascist
leadership of Donald John Trump.
Over the last 11 years, the price of everything has
increased dramatically. The cost of essentials, including food, clothing,
healthcare, utilities, and gasoline increased by 30, 40, 50, and even 60
percent. When you are forced to survive on a fixed income, there is no possible
way to adjust to these atrocities and survive in the most expensive nation in
the world.
TRUMP’S FAILURES TRICKLE DOWN TO THE MAJORITY: THE WORKING
CLASS
Trump is using the national treasury to please himself,
while most Americans suffer. The cost remaking the West Wing into what appears
to be the waiting room in a brother: his unnecessary ballroom, which no true
American will ever see or use, his proposed arch, what has become a disaster
known as the “reflecting pool” on the national mall: his “white trash” street
fighting competition to celebrate his own 80th birthday: and his
constant travels to his golf courses and the Lago: all these unnecessary
expenses will cost taxpayers billions of dollars over the next few years.
Meanwhile, he is profiting from his position. As I write
this, he and his family have increased their personal wealth by nearly two
billion dollars over the last 16 months. Meanwhile, the national debt has risen
to an unforgivable number: more than 39 trillion dollars. This debt can never
be paid off in the 21st or 22nd century.
I LOVED MY COUNTRY
I was a patriotic American until 1981. It was that year when
what had been known as a democratic republic, began to move in a backwards
direction.
Today, America’s government is irreparably dysfunctional. This
includes all three branches. The justice department, which was intended to be
independent, now serves Trump and his fascist party exclusively. Our generals
and admirals in the Pentagon now support the fascist policies of Trump and his
Nazi Party, the same traitors more than 400,000 men and women sacrificed their
lives to defeat the most infamous fascist of all time, and Trump’s idol: Adolf
Hitler.
I no longer love my country: I am embarrassed by our
incompetent and corrupt leaders.
If I was a younger man, I would help organize a second
American Revolution. I am far from being a fan of violence. However, our
government allowed Trump to declare victory in two rigged elections: both in
2016 and 2024. He is not an American president and is destroying the dream of
our Founding Fathers.
Our votes no longer count. Those with great wealth and power
control the results and place their fascist leaders in power. Their goal is to
maintain the current plutocracy/oligarchy.
If there is a second American Revolution, and it becomes
violent, so be it. It is far better to fight and die for freedom than to live
under the tyrannical control of fascism.
