If Their Lips Are Moving, They’re Lying

Trump set the standard the first time he appeared before a television camera. Every time he opened his mouth and his lips began to move, I knew a lie was coming. Not once in his pitiful life has he told the full truth

Over the last 10 years, his party followed his example. Not a single man or woman seeking political office and calling themselves a “Republican” can be trusted.

NEVADA IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE

I live in Northern Nevada. It’s a beautiful place to live. We enjoy all four seasons, most of the time they are mild. A short distance away is Lake Tahoe, and a relatively short distance beyond is the San Francisco Bay area. This part of my state is an outdoorsman’s paradise.

There is one problem: our current governor.

JOE LOMBARDO IS A LIAR AND A TRUMP SYCOPHANT

Four years ago, the people of my state made a huge mistake: they elected a Trump sycophant to be our governor. Like his idol, Joe Lombardo served our state’s billionaires while ignoring the needs of our people.

Lombardo’s campaign ads claim accomplishments in education, healthcare, reducing the cost of housing, and a reduction in violent crime. None of this is true.

With Lombardo as our governor, Nevada has dropped four spots in its national ranking. The Silver State is now 48th out of 50 in the quality and success of education.

Nevada ranks 42nd in both the cost, quality, and efficacy of healthcare.

According to Reuters, Nevada ranks 2nd highest in the nation for cost-burdened renters, trailing only Florida according to reports from the Guinn Center. It also ranks 1st (lowest) for having the fewest affordable and available housing units for extremely low-income households.

The overall crime rate in Nevada has been reduced by 12.6 percent. However, Lombardo had nothing to do with the situation.

His Democratic opponent, the current Attorney General, worked with other state’s Attorneys General to develop a plan to halt our state’s growing crime rate. Aaron Ford is responsible for lowering Nevada’s crime rate.

LOMBARDO’S ATTACKS ON MR. FORD ARE BLATANT LIES

Worst of all, Lombardo continues to falsely attack Mr. Ford. Not a single allegation is based on fact. I hope our state’s voters learn the truth and remove this pretender from our state. As Mr. Ford’s ads say, “Joe’s got to go.”

This situation is common in every state in the unions: Republicans lie. The truth is their greatest enemy.
