Trump’s Campaign ads are not Only Funded with Your Money, They are Designed to Both Catfish and Gaslight the American People
Op-ed by TheWiseOldFart
The third time I saw one of Trump’s ridiculous ads, paid for
by taxpayer money, I laughed out loud. This is what I saw.
As an old, obese man lumbered towards the camera, while a
voice ove was played. The words were attacks on anyone who failed to agree with
and support the man attempting to walk while staring at the camera’s lens. His
facial expression seemed to be an attempt to appear “menacing.” The words were
apparently labels defining his hundreds of millions of adversaries, including
“war mongers,” “communists,” and “fascists.”
Are you thinking, “this is the most farcical thing I have
ever seen?”
A VERY WEAK EFFORT TO CATFISH THE AMERICANPEOPLE
Catfishing is the act of creating a fake online identity or
persona on social media, dating apps, or forums to trick and deceive another
person or persons.
Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation and
emotional abuse where one person makes another person doubt their memory,
perception, sanity, or reality.
Trump’s entire life is a tale of one man’s need to become
relevant with the use of lies, misdirection, and illusions. However, since
2015, he has exposed himself as a man with a very low level of intelligence. It
is clear to anyone paying attention that Trump failed to attend classes during
his time at the Wharton Business College. As he did to procure deferments for
his son, preventing him from serving in the Vietnam War, father Fred purchased
his son’s diploma.
LET’S LOOK AT THE FACTS, (SORRY TRUMP SUPPORTERS)
During the 2016 campaign, Trump claimed that Hillary
Clinton’s team was “rigging the
election.” Although our government hid the truth from voters until the election
was certified, we all know that it was Trump, in collusion with his handler,
Vladimir Putin, who committed fraud to gain a victory in the Electoral College.
In his frivolous commercial, his attempts to catfish the
American people is transparent and ludicrous.
Trump is the “war monger,” and the leader of America’s
Neo-Nazi movement. His policies are contained in his own fascist manifesto
labeled “Project 2025.” In its 922 pages are a list of instructions. These
instructions define the manner in which a democratic nation can be remade into
a fascist regime ruled by a tyrannical Fuhrer.
Trump remains in denial, although he is the first sitting
president to see his approval ratings drop below 30 percent.
The American people rightfully believe that a President of
the United States is required to address domestic issues first. However, Trump
has ignored the escalating cost of necessities which are making life difficult
for every working-class citizen in our country.
We do not want or need a ballroom attached to our White
House while destroying the entire East Wing . A “helipad” was not necessary,
and the reflecting pool on the National Mall had already been repaired by
President Obama. A “triumphal arch” would be nothing more than a monument to
himself. When was a sitting presient allowed to pleasure himself with a “cage
fighting” event on the White House lawn, or plan a lavish birthday party for
himself? His “effort” to celebrate our nation’s 250the birthday was sad and
pitiful.
Most importantly, Trump proved that he is the “war monger.”
Although he made a campaign promise to prevent wars on foreign nations, on February
28, 2026, Trump, alone, made a decision to attack the Muslim nation of Iran
without verifiable provocation. For the American people, this is the ultimate
sin, the greatest war crime committed by an American president in history. Although
Bush’s war on Iraq was illegal and immoral, he sought and received Congressional
approval.
A PERSONAL NOTE
There is nothing I despise more than a liar, with the
exception of a hypocrite. If you are an informed American, you already know
that the men and women who call themselves “Republicans,” have lied to our
nation’s people for the last 45 years. They have become a party composed of
hypocrites whose loyalty is to one, old, obese, mentally and physically challenged
fascist.
The first election in which I was allowed to vote was in 1968.
I made a decision in that year to be an Independent voter. It seemed to me
then, as it does now, that giving my precious vote to a candidate for the sole
reason that he or she has an “R” or a “D” next to their name is pure idiocy,
and a complete waste of First Amendment rights.
Sadly, since the 2000 election, I have been unable to find a
single candidate running for federal office, who claims to be a Republican
worthy of my vote. I will never mark my ballot in support of an individual who
I know will not work for my needs, my wishes.
Election day is November 3rd.
